All Catholic regimes have recognized the new Papacy.
On the local level, however, there has been continued schisms in Bohemia, Hungary, France, Germany, England and Sweden. Some have gone so far as to reject the Church entirely and instead switch affiliation to the Lutheran, Orthodox or Calvinist denominations.
The Roman Catholic community remains the largest religious denomination on Earth despite its setbacks, however. The emergence of a larger, more potent Papal States (now in control of most of the former Granada) and access to pagan territories in Africa, Australia and the Americas are hoped to be able to outweigh the losses of faithful on the fringes.
