From: The Sich
These are indeed dire times. We request Pacts of Non-Aggression and Alliances from these Nations, not out of religious but out of secular Perspectives.
In return, we will aid in stabilising and removing the Turk from the Crimea, but for now, we take those Areas that border our Nations to ease our Diplomacy.

Dear all Protestant nations and all Christians who stand against the tyranny of Papal interference in our faith

It is our right that to practice our faith as we see fit without interference without the machinations of the Papacy interfering in our lives. It is the right of every man to be a member of the Universal Priesthood of Man. As Luther and Calvin reminded us we are all part of a Royal Priesthood. We are by Christ all given the right to preach; to hold our faith in him. It is not the duty of the Pope to pass down doctrine or determine arbitrarily where the Priesthood lies. Similarly it is not the right of the pope to offer us salvation in the form of indulgences. Returning to the catholic church will not as they tell you redeem your soul. It is through faith alone that that we can achieve forgiveness. You need not seek absolution in the eyes of the church as Christ forgives all who truly repent.

We must not let the Papacy control our faith. Our faith is determined by scripture and the teachings of Christ not some man in Rome. That man is not Christ neither does he have the right to say he anything close.

However this is already known to all of you, and knowing the strength of your faith I call upon all of you Lutheran, Calvinist, Anglican and any others who the Pope looks down upon to stay truthful to your beliefs and values and not to be afraid in the face of the Pope and his allies. It is thus proposed that we brothers, united under the threat, should agree that none of us are to harm another until we can be free from the persecution of the Catholic Church.
Remember the early Christians - persecuted continually by Romans and Jews but they held on to their faith and it guided them through just as now it shall guide us through this time of persecution. The Pope is a new Diocletian, but we shall persevere through this our Faith the Lord shall be our guide.

-Cuthbert Tunstall Prince Bishop of Durham

tl;dr: Propose a mutual non-aggression agreement between protestant/orthodox/other heretic nations.

To the Pope In Rome

I Prince-Elector of The Brunswick-Lüneburg, Rhineland and English Palatines Ernest the Confessor do not accept your offer. Perhaps you are here to lead us all astray or to test our faith for I see no other reason why a man such as you would rise to such a position of religious prominence. And as we were taught by Christ I shall shun your offers, you offer naught but damnation and in no sense the promised salvation. In Faith alone am I justified.

-Prince-Elector Ernest the Confessor

To the Irish Invaders

The illegal occupation of our territories in Lancaster, Cumbria and Westmorland will not be tolerated. We suggest that these territories should be peaceful given back, perhaps in exchange for some compensation for the damages we have caused you. We will not tolerate your occupation and if you do not acquiesce we shall be forced to take drastic measures.

-Charles Neville, 6th Earl of Westmorland
Thomas Percy, 7th Earl of Northumberland
Thomas Neville, 19th Earl of Warwick
Edward Perceval, 4th Duke of Lancaster
Richard of Shrewsbury, 4th Duke of York
Cuthbert Tunstall Prince Bishop of Durham

Vijayanagar is now a client state of Kerala.

tl;dr: Propose a mutual non-aggression agreement between protestant/orthodox/other heretic nations.

England, despite its rocky history with the Palatinate, acknowledges the greater threat of hegemony from Rome and so signs a non-aggression pact with the Palatinate.

Hanover, Brandenburg, and Schleswig-Holstein similarly fear Catholic hegemony and will agree to not make war on Calvinists.

Denmark and Sweden do not border any Calvinist nations, but that makes it all the more prudent to accept this agreement.

Burgundy shall refrain from expanding into Lutheran territories.

Hesse and Switzerland, as fellow Calvinists, agree not to attack fellow Protestants of the Lutheran churches.

Saxony, though Lutheran, is divided between Catholic, Lutheran, and Calvinist denominations, and so must refrain from any special non-aggression pacts. It does however, announce its intentions to avoid war with foreign powers.

wow Jeho you polarized Europe before the second turn

good job

And we haven't even seen what the Dauphinois and Muslims are up to!

the Kingdom of Cyprus, Representative of Eastern orthodoxy, applauds the stance that the palatinate has taken.

therefore, the King of Cyprus accepts the non aggression proposal, and, in an edict, tolerates the Calvinists and Lutherans as well as we tolerate our own Eastern Orthodox members of the faith.

didn't you like void your foreign policy and entire religious hierarchy to the ottomans or something

...and keep Ottoman wishes in mind when making foreign policy.

we are pretty sure that means we can do pretty much anything, as long as it doesn't negatively effect the ottomans. we have a lot of autonomy.

You hold to the perverse and wicked doctrine of men, namely of the detestable Luther and Calvin, who say that by faith alone is man justified, when as scripture attests faith without works is dead (James 2:14-26). Thus then is it the right of the successor of Peter to whom the power of binding and loosing is given, to declare indulgences, not that man might enter into salvation, but that for sins already forgiven by the Lord the temporal purgation might be lessened. You attest to uphold the sacred scripture, and yet you ignore the clear teaching of the apostolic ministry, of the petrine primacy, the Church as pillar and ground of truth, and of a great many other things which Christ decreed and which are clearly laid forth in the gospels and epistles.

Once again then we urge you in paternal care to put aside your error, and return unto that same Church which established in the beginning by Christ on Peter as the rock, is the pillar and foundation of Truth, and preserved from error by that same Christ who promised it would be so and who said he would be with it even unto the end of the age. Listen to the desire of Our Lord, who implored that all be one, and warned against these false shepherds and preachers of gospels other than the gospel of the Lord. (Matt 7:15)

It is detestable beyond measure that you have sought the embrace of the muhammedan heathens, who of ancient times have been hostile to Christendom, and debased yourself by submitting to them. Perhaps we shall see the turk raise the crescent where once the cross was raised, in your submission to him.

Hesse, being rather small and fearful of aggression from the Catholic powers to the South, offers itself as a client to the Palatinate.

Burgundy feels that Calvinists should stick together, and so offers an alliance to the Palatinate.

The Ottoman Empire essentially considers itself to reserve the right to vet foreign policy moves of Cyprus. The Sultanate sees no quarrel with non-aggression pacts with the Calvinist and Lutheran nations, as there's no foreseeable conflict of interest with these powers.

The Ottoman Empire has no intention of subjugating the Cypriot people or their faith. Prior to its fall, the French Kingdom had similarly aligned with us so as to counter growing power from Vienna. While the brief Habsburg hegemony has passed, what looked to be a grand royal line splintered once more into several Kingdoms, the point remains that the Sultan, in his wisdom, is able to look beyond spiritual disagreements where temporal objectives are concerned.

The Sultanate takes pride in its ability to overlook the specifics of faith with fellow People of the Book. It is certainly something we feel various Christian powers should consider rather than squabbling among themselves. We certainly don't mind powers such as Castile and Aragon sending many of their best and brightest into our open arms over a religious dispute, however.

well, you should have never asked us to convert. since you did, we went to the powerful Ottomans, since they had a reputation of religious tolerance.

The Palatine graciously accepts.

Ancient times? Several hundred years is ancient? Well if we're ancient, you were created before the Earth, which as we all know, is completely impossible, and you have just publicly admitted to being influenced by Satan.
