"tell me the difference between sophia and gnosis"

i know what gnosis is, but what is sophia?

shopjia means
A. in Hebrew and Helennic philoshopy the spirit of God orand the creative and formnative wisdom of the universe
B. in occultism and theosophy it means personified divine wisdom

thank you very much, lefty:goodjob:

so, can anyone tell me the difference between sophia/shopjia and gnosis? ;) i´m not so sure about it.

Hey PAIKTIS or LEFTY!!!! I would have sent a PM but I don't think I can? Or maybe your settings won't allow me to... But can you tell me what Baubo/Baubos is? I read it in a book, and it made no sense to me without a footnote or anything. Thanks! Again, I would have sent a PM but I didn't see where I could... Sorry Anime for strayin off topic. :spank:

I do not recall that word offhand.

i will problary be the only one in my class that can answer the question. thank you:goodjob:

I'd laugh if your teacher posts here too!

No, seriously this sounds like the old difference between wisdom that you gain through experience, and intelligence gained by education. You can't teach someone to be wise save by example, but you can quite reasonably leave someone with a book ,and expect them to have learnt something. I'd also venture that wisdom is always useful and knowledge is often useless. This was a really lazy post and I thought that I'd better put something worthwhile down to help you when I realised that the joke wasn't that good anyway.
