Hi, I need some help with the sound on my laptop.....I had the idea it might be a virus because a friend of mine recently got the same problem. Basically the deal is that the music in Windows Media Player (and the Winamp & Limewire players) is messed up. Like......warped somehow, and it sounds slower. I've looked at all the speeds and such, that isn't the problem.

That's only for my earphones, the speakers appear to be working fine. But, it's not a problem with the earphones, because they work just fine with my MP3 player.

Help! Thanks :)

It's probably a problem with the headphone socket on your laptop. Try plugging some external speakers (e.g. some desktop computer speakers) into the headphone socket on your laptop. If its still all warped, then its almost definately the headphone socket on your laptop.

I get this sometimes and no viruses for me. A good restart should do it. A restart always make mine back to normal. Its cool to listen songs when its in slow mo..its creepy
