Ballza
Chieftain
I would like to discuss about the Khmer civilization.
Leader: Jayavarman VII
because he built a lot of Prasats (Stone castles) following his land trade route for merchants or villagers respect to The Khmer Avatar King.
He also reconquest Champa (Nowaday southern vietnam), then rebuild the heritage of Prasats (Stone Castle), Dhammasala (Small hospitals along land trading routes from Angkor Wat to Prasat Piman, Nowaday Northeast Thailand area) and many temple.
Capital: Yasodharapura
Unique Trait
Devarajas (The Divine king avatar) OR Khmer Heritage When completed wonders before Industrial age, you gain culture and faith point follow 20% wonder construction costings of whole empire and free 1 Caravan or Cargo Ship near the capital
Devarajas reflects how the Khmer Kings ruled their kingdom with Mandate of the Supreme (Hindu) God or Holy characters and good practices as the Lord Buddha.
Moreover the Khmer language was the naval language around Southeast Asia for example the Chinese merchants contact other merchants in Southeast Asia with Khmer language that is my reason why Khmer is important sea trading route empire.
Unique Improvement:
Prasat (Stone Castle) - Instead Trading posts Need Tech: Theology (Following Devarajas Idea OR Khmer Heritage)
Can build only road plain/hill tile which connect with the capital but cannot build Prasat adjected each other
+2 faith +2 gold (after Archaeologist improve it: +3 tourism/ +2 happiness)
Prasats are hard to build like the real Prasats constructions that spend too much labors, time and resources.
Unique Unit:
Ballistic Elephant (replaces Knight)
Range unit
Strength: 22
Movement: 4
Tech Requirement: Chivalry
Cost: I'm not sure
Non Resources Required
Special Abilities: A Khmer Unique Unit. Can attack across forest or jungle tile
like the true Ballistic Elephant which the Khmer got this technology from Champa (Nowdays Southern vietnam) troop. Khmer and Champa made war each other for conquest opposite land and sea trade routes that connect with sea silk routes between China empire, India, Persia, and Arab peninsula.
How do you think about this. Please discuss and I'm sorry about my English
