Spoonwood's Hall of Fame Attempts

Standard sized Monarch map going for the loss with island block. I took out Arabia. All militaristic opponents to keep culture down. Or more even. More even appears to work with a few turns left:

962 points with the Maya on a Monarch standard sized map. Though one AI has 92,000 culture, no on had crossed the 100,000 culture threshold. China got eliminated by someone. Tech pace went more slowly than the last game. In the last one someone had started building The Internet, I think. For sure, The United Nations did get completed. In this one, someone had just started on The United Nations.

I tried for a histographic loss on Emperor. Rome landed a Marine on one of my outposts in 1852 AD!

I finished out a Huge Regent Diplomatic game with the Greeks for 4148. A no river start. I had Carthage, Germany, The Ottomans, and towards The English declare war on The Greeks. The first war had it's use for an early golden age, but overall I didn't want the wars. I even just let The English take some cities at the end to finish more quickly.

Tiny Warlord histographic. My left mouse click button died at the end apparently, and I had to reload the 2050 AD save.

460 points.

Looks like #5 on the Huge Regent Diplo charts. That's a good chart - congrats.

A loss for a Tiny Monarch Histogrphic game.

Final Score of 1191.

The Mongols had a score of 1421.

Finding a lake start on a tiny 80% archipelago map feels more difficult than on a standard map.

Small Regent Histographic. The Maya managed to settler 4 islands outside of the home island. Final score of 1215 for a victory!

I sometimes have ancient age wonders constructed for these quick histographic games, just to not enable AIs to pick up their research. I got an SGL on Writing in this one which got used for The Pyramids.

Another Small Regent Histographic. 3 islands settled this time. I had more infrastructure built this time and the empire revolted to Republic.

Final score of 1472.

That makes for 15 submissions I've had since July 22nd of this year.

That's really fast for histographic. Did you automate workers?

No, I did not. I never build hospitals or factories, so I don't get pollution. Once I have all islands where I settle cities have outposts or warriors on every coastal, if not every land square, and all buildings built, I have all cities set to wealth and click next turn.
