It looks pretty cool, but I think its too red. Maybe if there was less red involved it'd look a lot better. But I guess it matches those what-if Roman modern units.

The colors are really good, but I think you should use some more western models, for example KrugerPritz's italian tanks.
I will look forward to make a model for it in future
We need 3 models - Tank, Mech.Inf., and Modern Armor.
Also they sould have their own names, for example,-
Bella-40 (Tank)
PB-2000 (Prae Bellum 2000, Modern Armor)
Imperia80 (mech inf
:)
Will work on these tanks, for me it's possible

Let me just set one thing straith. Rome is not Italy. They are two compleatly destinctive nations.

-Update: How do I link a .Nif file with animation?

I know. But why should you use the mechs of the state, that locates much more far and that totally hasn't anything relative to the Rome? I know that Italy is actually not a Rome, but why not using Italian, or, at least German vehicules?
Through, the shape of the T-80's really reminds some of the Roman "architecture".

Strangely enough I am having problems with the fact that the unit has integrated animation. (It's animation is build into the actual .nif file)
When I use it in the game. The model just cicles through the entire animation sequence rather than animating properly.

This is none of my doing. It was made by who ever made the file. If anyone can tell me how to make it work properly please post it here.

If I was you.. I wouldnt have made a reskin of GeS T-90 not thats its not at good unit.. but the unit has a rather high poly count.. Snufusmith have made a T-90 that works perfectly.. but back to your problem what .kfm are you using.. I havent try GeS T-90 my self but it sounds like a wrong animation...

I am not using any .KFM. Becouse the unit has it's anims integrated into it self. If you download it you will see. So I have no idea what .KFM to use. The unit only has 1 .nif and no other files.

You should allways use a .kfm file if there is no one in the folder its normaly the standart .kfm from the unit type.. with the T-90 I would think its the Modern Armor.kfm you should use.. dont have the time right now to test it my self but thats what unit makers normaly do...

I already tested it with modern armor. I tested everything before posting it here.
My greatest problem is that I am in the proces of Copy-Paste creating another unit but it has internal anims too. And there is no base unit for that one.

As Anubis said, Civ4 units arent supposed to have the animation sequences merged on the main file. This way the Civ engine has no means to controll what sequence is palyed when...
From what i know, this needs re-doing. But have you tried to contact the author ? I assumed people releasing a model know how to make it work... So maybe he figured a way.

I have made a model but it has no animation. If I post it on the forums can anyone do the animation for me? (The unit does not respond to any KFM out there)

What model is it ? The tank up there ?

A roman mechanised infantry unit that I made my self.
Here is a Screan Shot.

Look a bit Warhammer-40K-ish.
I think i can pin it on Tank or default MechInf animation. Won't be before next week however.

copy pasting in this case was enough, you only had to copy the parts (eg hull etc) to the corresponding dummy in the modern armour nif, it seems while exporting the model some errors occured in the nif (eg the "internal animation" and other missing stuff) and afterwards the model parts were not copied in a "working" nif. Therefore the unit didn´t responded to an animation while the model itself was based on the modern armour nif. Zip only includes the nif. (link to modernarmour kfm)

Let me just try something first...
Done, It works now. Had to change some names and download a model. Got inspired by you mentioning WH.
