Spring Patch Info

But what would his agenda be?
Have modern army? Experienced army? I dunno.

Btw. I think the game like agenda where leader would like you if you conquer a lot of cities. A good agenda for Alexander the Great or Genghis Khan. However, Alexander is Gorgo 2.0 and Genghis cares only about horses for some reason.

That's the problem with warmongers--it's hard to find good agendas for them when other warmongers already have similar ones in the game.

Typically, around 1 pm Firaxis time (eastern U.S.), although some early vanilla patches were in the evening.

Technically, it could also mean 00:01 Am EST, which would be 09:01 PM today here in the West Coast...

Patch tonight! :D

I'm taking it to mean next month, until I see the file downloading.

Once Firaxis gives a date you can be sure it happens. Stop being so negative.

I am waiting to see hard evidence of this.

You won't see evidence of it, because the evidence is that it doesn't happen, which means you can never be certain.

I'm playing a really large map (bigger than "huge") and so far the sound hasn't gone yet. Also I'm noticing better graphics performance. (Or this could be cos of an updated NVIDIA game ready driver cos I didn't really play a game of Civ VI in more than a week now).

Anyone notice improved graphics?

For anyone worried about any negative effects on a game in progress, I didn't notice any.

I was getting near a SV in a game as Mongolia (diety, fractal, standard size map & speed) and stopped it at around 3:30 pm EDT. And by that I mean I quicksaved the game and exited to the desktop.

When I restarted Civ 6 at around 4:00 pm EDT, the patch automatically downloaded. When it finished restarting I went to the menu after single player and clicked resume game. Picked up exactly where I left off and I finished the game with no problems.

And it did seem that the patch had been applied in my ongoing game because there was a different font/look to the pop-up window where you make era dedications.

That's good to hear. Are you running any Mods?

Just going to quote myself from reddit:

Also, can't believe they buffed Public Transport

Yeah I agree that swapping Magnus's chop promotion with the settlers don't reduce pop promotion is a better fix.

But what would his agenda be?

Well something that involves the world revolving around him ;)

Ummmmm.... I suppose Chandragupta has the likes conquering neighbours one.
Likes...
Dislikes...I wanna say anyone running monarchy; but he pretty much became a monarch.

I'm going to go away and think properly about this; rather than give glib answers that are true to life but unhelpful to the game haha

Well you'll notice that the music is no longer disappearing as it has been.
