I love the way you're playing the Cholas. But IT would suggest, you take out the rest of India. Banish the Mughals back to Ferghana !
Unfortunately, the game is an AAR originally completed over a year ago, and as a result, I made a lot of mistakes.
Government Reports, Part 13: Ends and Beginnings
Compiled and edited by Adiyaman, Chief Secretary and General Assistant to the Emperor and Karthikai, Chief Government Archivist, dated to 1520 AD.
Tamil generals, full of knowledge from the Spanish War, made breathtaking advances in military sciences.
At this time, the Tamil Empire had also reached a record population level of 20 million.
However, this peaceful picture was disturbed when Oda Nobunaga, formerly one of Rajendra Chola's staunchest allies, declared war. Astonishingly, they actually sent an army to attack Java.
However, the Japanese army and navy was quickly annihilated by superior Tamil firepower.
After seeing this disaster, Japan quickly made peace and relations resumed ante bellum.
The Protestant Reformation, while causing massive wars in Europe, barely affected the Tamil Empire, as the only Catholic colony was the Philippines.
Rajendra Chola announced the beginning of one of the largest naval buildups in history to high-ranking Tamil leaders: the establishment of a gigantic fleet of Privateers to disrupt European shipping and their economy.
The Tamils began their New World Empire by accepting the Aztecs as a vassal state. This caused another war with Spain, though the 2nd Spanish War was more of a proxy war than anything.
Despite Tamil power, the Tamil Empire was outrageously not on the list of Most Advanced Civilizations. Also, the Portuguese had bought out Indonesian Malacca, reducing them to a tiny rump state.
In the midst of the 2nd Spanish War, brave Chola privateer captains founded the city of Cholapuram in Panama as a stopover point for privateers en route to Europe. This allowed them to avoid going around the Cape of Good Hope.
