You have a point, however, we can always ask the Mafia to kill CivCube for us. Hey, if he's not one of yours then there is a stark possibility that he is a Cultist. If not, then you get another Vanilla Townie, it's a win/win scenario. Remember, the Cult is a big a threat to you Mafiosos as it is to the town. Possibly even bigger.

basially, when someone votes for you and you know that you are innocent, everyone else in the game should understand your plight and go after the person who voted for you (who is likely guilty). To be sympathetic with the dieing townie. That's why you often quote the vote on you and say "OMGUS, vote: whoever" in return
