I can't get into the micro prose site to download the latest mod-pack, is there a new site address (www.microprose.com doesn't work?)

What was that about a Nevents file?

You can dowload form civfanatics dowload section. (the patch)

the Nevents.txt is an alternative events file. You rename events.txt to Oevents.txt and then rename Nevents.txt to events.txt.

At least when you hosted, the game started. Do you think it got confused because Dread0 joined and dropped out in that case?

I think that was my fault, my civ crashed as I was trying to join at the Axis (not related to the game) and then later I tried to join as the Russians after restarting but you had already quit.
