Our systems match, but it is now saying something about the directory path can't be found. Where are you storing the Star Trek Scenario on your drive?

Does that matter? I have my FW installed concurrently in the original directory

If you've read the thread, you'll know we are having problems. Currently after having the same version, we (alcib and I) have to match directories.

It does. My civ directory is C:\Program Files\MicroProseSoftware\Civilization II Multiplayer Gold Edition. The scenario/save directory is: ...\SCENARIO\Trek. Hi Dred!

What you'll find is that i've only played online once before you'd really have to guide me throught the steps...I don't have ICQ either.

OK, I've changed my directories to match yours exactly (barring any typos).

1. install the MGE patch located in the downloads section if you haven't
2. make sure you civ and scenario directories are the same as stated above
3.The IP address is 203.85.248.14

More poblems. It now says conection to your system has failed! Did the IP change?

My MGE is located at: C:\games\mps\civII (or something i'd have to check?)

As far as BAQ 2.0 ummm no i doubt it, it doesn't look familiar(clarify)

If all this is going to take more than 3 1/2 hrs i don't think i'll make it. zzzzzzz...

I think I know what's wrong. Write out the scenario folder's name exactly. I think mine is different.

BAQ2.0 = Star Trek: Battle for the Alpha Quadrant (we are playing the No-win Option). You can download from civfan but you must use the Nevents.txt file as the events.txt

You also have to move everything on your hard disk to match the original MGE directory. So are you still interested?

I actually downlaoded that scenario the other day (2 days ago).

But i'm too far behind you guys to get in anytime soon.
