Star Wars Mod

i can mod... xml and stuff like that... if you need help just ask... but im working on my mod... but its not movign so fast because i got stuck in a rut... so ill lend my help if needed
 
Why there hasn´t been an update for months? Is there some problem in programming or is the programmer too lazy, in coma or something like that?(no offense) I would love to see this ready, as I am into Star Wars.
 
Shouldn't the Galactic Senate be called the Old Republic (or at least the Republic)? The senate was just the name of the governing body.

i REALLY dont get that unit spoiler on the first page... it really makes me shout 'WTH?!' outloud.

is there a list of the units from star wars that will be in this mod if its done?
 
Is there any information available on how to install this mod? I have only tried one other mod for Civ4 and it had an installer program with it that I just had to click and then play. This download has a lot of folders and files, but I can't seem to find any read me file on how to get it to work.

Any help would be most appreciated!

What's with the leaders for these civs? They're almost all the same, which makes the second leader useless to play as. because Civ X has for example two leaders who are Industrious, and creative.
 
this mod is not ready.
and at the moment the progress is on stand by.
we are in the need of an modder who brings this back to life.
 
I haven't seen Civmansam online for ages so I assume this mod is up for grabs if anyone wants to work on it. Hopefully Civmansam will resurface and tell me that's not the case.
 
I would love to see this project get back on track....it has so much potential to be really awesome. :D
 
There are very much things that need fixing. For example you get the most powerful units, gunships, already on the early game. You guys should think copying the unit system from Starwars Battlefront 2. It has good system for Republic, CIS, Empire and Rebels. (I still think you should add Ewoks too) I could mod those (I can´t make skins), if someone needs.
 
The barbarian units were way overpowered in the last version released. Sadly a patch was never made available.

There is a Public forum in the Development section of the C&C. If you want to make Ewoks then I'm sure someone would find a use for them. :)
 
perhaps Qdin could skins for ewoks if we are going to put them in.
but please join the forum and we can discuse everything :)
 
Any plans to convert this to a Warlords compatible version?
 
we first need to make this mod playble.
perhaps it comes in an warlord version perhaps not.
first we need some one who will mod this game.
and makes this come back alive :)
 
I'd say that you should PM Civmansam WGW and if he doesn't respond within a week or so that you should post in the main C&C and see if anyone wants to put together a team. There is some nice stuff there to build off of.

I have PMed him three times now and even written in the Project area, i get nothing???
 
No time and I'm a helper, not a Leader. I can't program and to be the leader of a mod you should be at least able to code python IMO.
