Star Wars
Return of the Sith
Three thousand years before the rise of the Galactic Empire, the Galaxy is engulfed in a vicious war between the GALACTIC REPUBLIC and the evil SITH EMPIRE. An awesome armada under the command of the DARK LORDS OF THE SITH, Darth Venius and Darth Iobos, invaded an unprepared Republic.
The Sith armada has been able to crush any resistance and has left a trail of death and misery in its path. The Republic has lost more than half of its fleet and has suffered great casualties. Many Jedi Knights have fallen in battle and many more have been converted to the dark side of the Force.
After overthrowing his Master, Darth Venius, and declaring himself SITH EMPEROR, the cruel Darth Iobos prepares a final offensive which shall destroy once and for all the Republic and its Jedi protectors and will usher the Galaxy into a new dark age of tyranny and repression....
Welcome to Star Wars - Return of the Sith. This is a Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) game set 3,000 before the Original Trilogy.
Stats:
Stats, along with RNG (Random Number Generator), decide if your actions are successful or not.
Strength: The more points you have, the more chances to succeed in a battle you have.
Persuasion: The more points you have, the easier it is to deal with NPCs, recruit companions and gain their loyalty.
Agility: The more points you have, the more chances to escape from a difficult situation you have. It is also helpful in battle.
Computers: The more points you have, the more chances of successfully hacking computer panels you have.
Security: The more points you have, the more chances of successfully breaking into a place you have.
Intelligence: The more points you have, the more you can spend on stats during level ups.
Level Up:
The stats can be increased with successes or by killing enemies. For each quest/enemy you kill, you will get XP. When you get the XP required to level up, you will be able to spend 2 points to level up your stats. Extra points for you to use to level up come from your Intelligence, which gives you number/2. For example, if you have 2 Intelligence you have 1 bonus point to use. As such you have a total of 3 points to use in the stats.
Life Points:
Life Points (LP) is the life of you character. If in combat you lose all your LP, you die. You can heal with medpacks.
Combat:
Its simple: When you attack it is your strength * 2 + weapon + agility/2 + RNG VS enemy's strength * 2 + armor + agility/2 + RNG. When you defend it is the reverse. If your attack number is higher than the enemy's defense, the subtract is subtracted from his LP. If his defense is higher, your attack has no effect at all.
Force Powers:
Characters who are Force Sensitive can use Force Powers. When they get enough XP to level up, they get 2 points which they can use to level up Force Powers.
Force Heal: Can heal you or companion. Level * 10 = LP points restored. Level 3 means that 30 LP are restored, to use an example. Costs 18 FPP.
Force Push: Can be used instead of weapon. Level * 5 = damage. Costs 20 FPP.
Force Lighting: Can be used instead of weapon. Level * 8 = damage. Costs 26 FPP.
Force Shield: Can be used to reinforce defense. Level * 5 = defense. Costs 24 FPP.
Force Powers Points:
FPP (Force Powers Points) indicate how much you and your companions can use the Force each turn.
Companions:
During your journey, you shall be joined by some companions. Each one has his own story and abilities which you can use to complete tasks.
Light Side - Dark Side
Depending on your choices, your character becomes aligned with the light side or the dark side of the Force. This will affect not only yourself, but also your companions and how they view you and your own quest. Some characters may also start out as Grey because they are morally ambiguous or have not decided yet which path to follow.
