I'd have to disagree with you here. I know we've got a lot of C'n'P units, and some of them are very well done, I agree there. But they're just not the same as a flat-out animated unit. The animated units give a much more seamless experience than the C'n'P units that tend either to have glitches or look like they were assembled in Paint. The difference is usually pretty clear, or at least it is for me.
I don't know, that's just my opinion. I'm also a perfectionist, probably even OCD if I got tested
C'n'P units also have to be more difficult than animating from a model, because I don't think I could do C'n'P, but have no problems with OpenFX to storyboards and that lot, and I'm pretty much ******** when it comes to those kind of computer things.
