Concerning religion founding videos: Yes, I meant clips from the shows and movies. There is a thread on CFC that explains how to make new religion founding movies. Since I cannot create models and animate like the orginal religions I'm going to use bik video files. I have a pretty good idea of what I want for each one, but I'd like the other users' input.

If you can provide the Enlightened trait xml, I'll keep it in mind for future releases. And thanks for uploading the Stargate BtS with the BUG and BULL. I'll check it out ASAP.

OK 
1) Goauld Religion:
I would say that famous scene you can easily found in Children of the Gods in which Apophis' wife symbiont enters her host, she became a goauld and all folk on their knees for their new Queen.
2) No false Gods Religion:
As long as it is logically shared by most, such as Tokra and Rebel Jaffas, it is hard to made all agree.
I would say Dakara battle scene, OR any killing of a Goauld, preferred Apophis to mirror the first.
3) Asgard Worshipping:
Easy.
"Thor! Thor!" claimed by nordic folks to activate the Hammer of Thor on a asgard protected planet.
OR the Holographic Thor message in the underground, but I preferred first.
4) Propagation of Species (Replicator's ideology)
Many possibilities.
A Replicators' nest with a "queen" working on a alien ship;
The opening of the tomb of the first humanoid prototype mixed with her producing nano-spiders...
Some humanoid replicator like Number 5 emerging from repl blocks in the repl ship.
The old one telling their vision of eating the universe to spread.
etc.
5) Path of Ascension (Ancient religion)
Easy.
The planet in whic Oma de Sala appears first:
The monk teaching Jackson that lit a fire with his mind, mixed with the scene of Oma appearing.
6) Progress (Tauri)
Hard to find. Oh yes. KAWOOSH.
Stargate first activation in the _movie_ thanks to daniel jackson discovery of the 7th symbol.
The whole sequence please.
7) Sci-fi (Asgard)
Wormhole Extreme trailer scene. I know it isn't serious, but I cannot resist it. I would die by excessive laughs if a find the religion and see it...
If we are speaking "seriously" then some advanced alien like Asgard or better Ancient super-technology in action. Something stunning.
Those are my proposals.

You forget, we threw out the idea of a replicator religion, and I can't believe you forgot Origin!

I also intend to use some scenes where the Goauld are like 'Bow before your god', including Ra
For Ascension, I was also thinking of a clip from Atlantis when Sheppard got stuck with those Ascension meditating people. Think of Atlantis clips as well. This mod will eventually include aspects of that show.

It is great thing, unfortunatly I haven't see Atlantis yet. I saw only SG1 and original movie.
Btw mod should have Atlantis too etc. But I cannot help you on this side, it is on your hands.

I've been trying to find the 'X' from the Wormhole X-treme logo to use as a Sci-fi icon. Just the 'X'. But all I've found so far is the whole logo with an annoying 'o' right in front of the 'X'. So I did it myself. It looked very nice, until I saved it as a .dds, and then it got a little messed up. Nothing that can't be fixed, thankfully. When I am satisfied after re-doing it, I'll upload it for your enjoyment of things to come.
I've also done some research and made notes on episodes that will provide appropriate clips for the religion foundings. These are going to be much longer than the original founding vids. Most clips will be from SG-1, with others from Atlantis, the movies, and maybe even one from Universe

I stumbled upon a Ra leaderhead recently in a thread. Can't remember which, but it might be useful for the mod.

For the others, Teal'c rebellion in the first episode is the best choice imo, even than mine own.
The only thing I disagree is the renaming of Progress to Technology - isn't it too similar to Sci-fi?
I also suggest again to use Wormhole Xtreme theme for it, it mirrors the relative "X" logo.

I'm sorry, I completely forgot to include Wormhole X-treme, even though I meant to. Of course it will be included.

I think I owe an update after being away so long:
I've decided on the order of the religion foundings. Goauld and Asgard Worship will replace Buddhism and Hinduism, followed by Ascension. Then comes False Gods, Origin and Technology, with Sci-fi last. I've figured out that I have to edit the Gamefont.tga file, so that will be a bit, more work. I'm not planning to change the civlopedia entries for the religions just yet that will be later.Hopefully, I would expect a new release sometime within the next two weeks.

After wrestling with the Gamefont.tga for two days straight, trying to come up with a good strategy to implement my religion icons, I think I have finally gotten them to work. Each of the religious building and units will still have their original models and icons, however I have changed their names to what I consider appropriate to the specific religion. I'll leave it up to you guys to find them and comment. Next step is to start working on religion videos, while I wait for some models that hopefully will come soon. I'll upload the new version within the next 24 hours, as it is currently 12:30 am Atlantic time.

I had a brainwave recently and I'm sharing it here.
I've decided that the current idea of the mod, being a land-based Civ 4 mod, will only deal with land-based battles. So there won't be any spaceships in this version of the mod. I hope that in the future another mod can be developed, based on Final Frontier. That mod will concern itself with the space battle and exploration aspect of Stargate. Just a thought.
