love the mod, are u a sg fan? of course
id love to see an sg mod designed as the goa'uld empire with it based more round making fleets.
jaffa would still be important as u could use them amphibiously to attack planets (cities on one tile representing planets)
trade wouldn't be an issue as the stargate could be used like an airport.
and the alkesh and gliders as air units rather then land.
it would be different and be for more of the long game play style, build up armie and fleets.

Finally got around to testing this one.. this is really cool! Some of the custom graphics (eg animating SG units and leaders) just look great! Nice custom sounds too!
