There was little ambiguosity in the Korean government. A patriarchal, elitist society had formed in which the oldest of the highest families were the supreme authority, and there was little left to be said for the rest.

Emperor Jae-Sun Yi was the olderst and highest of all men in Korea. He had lived to the ripe old age of 86, something that was a testament not only to the iron will of the man, but to the success of Korean native medicine.

All men grew up in this class system. In Korea, it was known as Minjoksagwan, or "Nationalist Historical View", and was the cornerstone of all things working in the nation, social and political. It was hoped that the wisdom and proper upbringing of these men and women would better the overall state in the nation.

Despite this, all Koreans lived somewhat equally. Even Emperor Jae-Sun Yi lived in a humble home, made from an old Buddhist temple in Seoul and converted into the center of the Korean Empire. Minjoksagwan applied only to society, and power was the real currency of the nation.

The old Emperor dressed subtly; usually he could be seen wearing just a cotton blue robe, swaggering with his rather large belly as he bent over on the support of his crooked cane. The lines of his face seemed so ancient they were filled with sand, deepest where smiles and frowns had once occupied his face, circling and bagging underneath his piercing brown eyes. Balding hair, white as white can be, and a long beard gave him an aura of intelligence and experience that could be matched by no man in the country.

Jae-Sun Yi hobbled slowly into the central room of his governmental house, the old Buddhist temple, barely hearing the water of his garden ponds running through the thin walls. Before him stood his 5 ministers: Economic, Religious, Military, Diplomatic, and Education.

He sat down slowly on a pillow at the low-set table, crossing his tired old legs and setting his can aside as he moved to rub his feet.

"We have much work to do," the old man's raspy voice announced.

The city of Edo was once again at peace with the new government in place, and the land flourished. Tokugawa's army in the north and the south conquered enemies that seemed invincible just the past year, and the ranks in the Japanese Imperial Army soured to unknown numbers.

The land of Japan was fertile as well. The economy of the Japanese empire was also at an all-time high, it seemed every other citizen was a noble, and the mercenaries at a low price.

However, news from a foreign nation, the Koreans, threatened the expansion of the Imperial Japanese nation past their own islands. Tokugawa must make his intentions clear, and stand strong by the armies of Japan.

occ: I am writing this as if I already own the entirety of the Hawaiin chain. This is to make up for the time lost last time.

The Emperor of Hawaii strode out among the beutiful beaches of his island domains. The entire chain of islands was in his grasp and the Hawaian people were blissfully prospering without a care in the world.

However the islands were getting crowded, it was time to try and capture more domains. A grand navy was being constructed at the great city of Pearl. Pearl with a great habour for shipping, was nto far away from the capital of Newtonsville.

The High King of Baalbeck has united all of Phoenicia (Israel, Judea, Palestine, and Lebabon) under his rulership through peaceful negotiation, and by the sheer force of his will.

The local Lord all now swore alliagance to the High King in Baalbeck, and were committing half their income in taxes to the Kingdom treasury.

Hiram, being a reasonable and clever man, realised that it was better to include his Lords in his decision making by forming the Council of Lords by which once a month a Lord would be require to report to Baalbeck and participate in Council with the King.
When the Lord chose to come was his discretion for the King held council every day with his advisers and lords.

The King stood this day at the great city port of Tyre looking out onto the great seas.

"One day..." He thought to himself, "My people will rule those seas..."

And that was so his aim.
