I'm one person supporting about 100 network devices, including a small legacy network. There are about 2,000 users. Not to mention a classified network I'm responsible for, too. Loads of fun. But that resume keeps on getting better and better!!

When I am able to make a return to modding (especially at the scale required for this kind of NES), I'll post a pre-game thread so the new rules can be discussed, refined, and clarified. I know I'm looking forward to it, and with all that I learned during the short time this NES existed, the new one should be much more smooth.

Sure, I can explain some things.

The Vakkra were the original creators of the Scourge. It had been unleashed upon the Old Dominion as a pre-cursor to the Vakkra invasion, meant to weaken humanity. Unfortunately, the Vakkra experienced some problems of their own, and by the time they actually made it the Dominion's region of space, humanity (your factions) was already rebuilding and capable of putting up a good fight.

I'll admit, some things changed with the Vakkra, because you all did such a wonderful job of postulating on them. I hadn't gone into such great detail, but I think every change made for a more interesting (and more fair) game.

They were also meant to allow for the deletion of the starlanes, which, I'll admit, were pretty cumbersome. I have new ideas for a new star-based NES that will hopefully make travel so much better and easier.

I can't wait to have the free time again to run a new NES. As it is, I'm glad I'm finally to the point where I can visit the forums again!

Hmm, I suspected they had something to do with the scourge, seeing how well they interacted with it.
