Speaking of subs they should get significantly stronger in the modern era. The most significant ship to ship threat even today is the sub- especially with the advent of high speed guided torpedoes and underwater launched missiles.

This a statement made from a very wise man indeed.


Most of the people , above all in Firaxis ,completely ignore how subs work. Their strenght must be increased a lot, they also should be able to carry a dozen of missiles and their visibility should be lowered while their range should be increased.

I dislike editing xml files but I'm forced to do that if I wanna play with subs with a decent level of dignity.

The Visby Class are in fact Corvettes and not Destroyers. Wikipedia is not a source to trust on such matters. The British are developing the Type 45 Stealth Destroyer and the United States is developing the DD (X) Stealth Destroyer.
