Sorry but I dont understand this. What should I do with pediaicons.txt ??

also I cant find:
PTW/Scenario/Steph/Art/Units" folder, if you have the AC_SiouxHorseArcher folder, it should contains a AC_SiouxHorseArcher.ini file.

Many of the units in your mod (I know you are not an author of all of them) are just.....ugly (just like many of them i SOE). So I ask. Why do you have to take all of those crapy units to your mod. Can't you just select the best ones of them?

ok, Ive just copied thus PTW/Scenario/Steph/Art/Units" folder, if you have the AC_SiouxHorseArcher folder, it should contains a AC_SiouxHorseArcher.ini file.
into units directory and now it is ok!!!!!!!!!!
 
I will tell you soon, please be patient. Steph said that tere is many units from SOE and those units are just....well not good. (I Ive seen the mod yesterday) What units - I will write soon! It will take some time to me.

BUT HERE I HAVE something else now. I play Steph mod right now :) but something annoyes me. I have locked (well it should be) TAX 50% and SCIENCE 50%. But every time I end the turn those parameters changes to for example 40%TAX and 60%SCIENCE. It is annoying becouse now Iam on a debt (shrinking) and every time I want to end turn I must correct those parameters.........and so on and so on.

What should I do?

Units from SOE are not available in my mod yet, they will be in Beta 4. You just have a preview here.

that is a bug in the game not the mod. it happens to me all the time. I think the way to fix it is to not mess with it for a few turns or turn SCIENCE to 0% for some turns, I am not sure though.
 
is that really a bug? never noticed that... is it still present in Conquests ???

Though the most anoying "bug" that came with C3C (at least in my German opinion) is that the First Scientific Leader entry for the Americans is Albert Einstein :D (I'll exchange that to Dr. Strangelove in my mod 2 take revenge) Bruhahaharrr...

Orion, be aware that there will be larger updates to the units in SOE- on CDG Wyrmshadow is updating units on a daily base at the moment- however it will take some weeks b4 a larger patch may be up....
 
Yes well. As I was playing pure Civ3 or Ptw I have NEVER met with this bug! - and I ve been playing Civ3 for 2 years! But in Steph mod it occures in EVERY game!!!

What is going on!!!???:mad:
 
Hey, calm down. This bug occurs in several mods, so don't just blame Steph. I've seen it occur in MeM, DyP and TAM sometimes, but try Bobisback's Solutions to it.
 
No I don't blame Steph, I know that is not his foult and also I respect him for his creativnes.

Ok so far I ve playing 2 bugs:

I play Germans:
European Swordsmen should be upgradet to Man at arms - but sorry it does not work
Second: I cannot build catapults.....

If I find more bugs I will write it down and let you know.
 
The European swordsman should upgrade to man at arm, but for the German the flavour unit for man at arm is the Axeman (although I'm not sure it was already the case in Beta 3, perhaps it's only from Beta 4)

There's indeed a bug for the catapult : when making the Asian catapult, I've given it to China, India, Japan, Mongols and Korea, but I did the same for the standard catapult...
 
Hey Steph, I've discovered England has the unfair advantage of having the Light Dragoon untagged for a tech, only needing the necassary resources (in other words, after you reseach Gun Powder as England, you get it). Also, insted of Bombard, it was given Build City.

I'm not complaining about the first part though. :D

Bugs corrected. And the Build City was not given instead of Bomard: the Light Dragoon should not have the Bombard tag either.
 
I realise that it would not have ranged bombard, but I though that it required Bombard for it's "Before-Battle" extra attack that several units receive
 
To my knowledge, the "Bombard", "Fortify", etc flag are mainly use to know if the button appears in the interface, but it seems it doesn't really has an effect on the ability itself. For instance, if you uncheck fortify :
- The computer can still fortify his units
- if you right click on a stak, you can still use "fortify all" to fortify your guys...
