Damn it! I got C3C from Amazon.co.uk today. It'd finally arrived after being ordered a month in advance and do I get my disk with the mods? Not all. Fantastic.

Does every nation have their own units? I mean different units with each nation?

Most of them have own flavor units for most units

Not only that but some civs have special units that come at different times, allowing for an evolution and advantages to some civs at certain times (ie janissary IIRC)

Not exactly. I'm using graphics mad by others, so I lack graphics for some units, so it is not finished.

However, every nation has a whole bunch of specific units. Sometimes, these units are shared between a culture (exemple : Eastern pikeman).

The units are set to give a real advantages to nations when they should have it. For instance, the Romans are stronger than other civ in ancient era, in modern era the American are better.

You should experience different unit lines when you play different civ.

To my knowledge, it is not possible to load a saved gamed with a new version of a scenario, because the saved game includes the rules of the old version.

So no, you won't be able to load Beta 3 saved game with beta 4.

I will work on beta 4 this week end, I hope to finish it in 1.5 weeks, but I cannot guarantee it as there are lot of on going changes in my job : next weeks could be very very busy, or very very still...

The C3C version will take a lot more time, I need to check everything to see how I can incorporate the new features.

I think the lower right 3 are (l to r) Nebelwerfer, Sherman Calliope, and Katyusha (misssile rack lowered).
