Fear not Sir Yoda, for stopped working on it I have not.

Here are the units that today I have added.

Tomorrow 3rd era units I will add. Well, at least some of them, there are plenty.

By the way, without flavour units for the 2 last era, I already have 335 unit entries in the civilopedia.
 
It seems that you have the old (light-sailed version) of the egyptian galley. The egyptian civ-colour (yellow) does not show very well in that sail. If that's not a problem to you, then ignore my post...
 
It could indeed be a slithg problem. I will download the new version ASAP.

I'm working on the 3rd era right now. And I'm a bit disappointed by the available WWI and WWII infantry units. Even with PTW, there are very few of them.

So I'll make a "temporary" version.

Here, I've a generic unit for the world (WWI infantry, WWII infantry, marines, engineer), but no paratrooper or commando, nor machine gun or AT Infantry.
Then, I have specific units for Allied and Axis (and sometimes Russian / Japanese), and Allied and Axis civilization are the only one able to build paratroopers and commando. Beside, their infantry, marines and engineer are really better than the rest of the world.

Beta test will tell if it's fun to play...

I will rework this part after Conquest and the release of SOE, if I can borrow some units (that is, if they have done something else than planes and tanks ;) )
 
Here are the units added today.
From left to right :
-Engineers, WWI infantry, WWII troopers, Marines, Paratrooper and commando, Machine Gun and mortar, AT infantry.

From back to front : different flavour units for allied and axis mainly but also some Russian, Japanese, Indian...

BTW, I have a question. When testing the units, I have disovered that there's a blank in "InfantryDeath .wav" (sound file for the original infantry unit). Is is the case for everybody, with all version and patch? Can I case the mod on this error?

Where can I find the latest version of this scenario?

Is this the scenario the one that has all the PTW new units included in it all in one?
 
The lastest version can be downloaded in the first page of the thread.

It's still a beta 2 version, that covers the 1st and 2nd era (ancient time, middle ages, renaissance and imperialism).
The 3rd era (industrial) and 4th era (modern) are implemented, but only with generic units.
I'm currently adding 3rd era flavour units (includign some from PTW).

TETurkhan is to my knowledge the over scenario that includes many PTW units.

The top left unit is the flamethrower. The quality is not very good : I'm using it as a generic late WWI / WWII assault engineer. The two other units in the left row are the allied and axis engineer (from PTW).
 
I meant the second from the left, sorry....
Underneath it are the vanilla Infantry, then the Kaiserjaeger then the Mideast Infantry I think. And also, which civ are they going to be for in your mod?
 
This unit is the legion Etrangère. It was originally designed to be a French UU, and I'm using it a s a generic WWI infantry (I hope someone will make nice graphics to replace it...).

I have all PTW civ in my world, except Iroquois (which have been "mixed" with Americans). I will probably add a few when C3C is released, and perhaps remove some (I may mix Mongols and Chinese, the Mongols empire didn't last long enough.

I have a InfantryDeath .wav in my game.




btw when do you think the next beta will be released.

Note it's a very temporary version, I will probably rework it a lot once SOE is released, and even more when C3C is released.

I only have the aircraft left to do for the 3rd era.

- Roman (Italian) flavour units

- China / Japan flavour units. For China, I've used P40 (Flying Tigers)
- Scandinavia flavour units.

Wow... that plane list sure is colourful.

I would assume, that naval fighter has lethal sea bombard, the regular fighter would have lethal land bombard... or something in those lines ;)

But then again, assuming things was never one of my strengths :lol:
