I knew I had forgotten something! That was that.

EDIT:
Bug report:
You're missing some unit icons (or then they were typos) CogSmall/Large.pcx, HokuleaSmall/Large.pcx.
Also game crashed when about 10 turns were played (leaving no message, just illegal operation or something) (I'm suspecting Shrine)
Continuing testing...
Oups, I'll make a patch with the cog and hokulea pcx. I've added them at the last minutes, and perhaps I mixed the zips with and without them.

No idea about the crash without message to help... I've played the mod till 500 BC with Japanese, building everthing.

I'm playing in 1680 BC. I'm Russians and there are also English, French and Germans, so it should not be European civs that cause the error.
When it crashed, I was Persians but it crashed on AIs turn

I am playing as the Russins and I have all the civs that had a part in WW2, but I started in the 2 era and I have had no errors so far.

btw you can download a world map version from the second post of the thread. Which im going to update from time to time:)

I had a look at the World Map Bobisback posted. It'[s very good, but I think for opening a new tactical side, some river's that go inland could be replaced with Coast that is flanked at both sides with river. This would make it possible to send Canoe's down the Amazon or Troop Ships into the river's of Vietnam. That's what I did. And I found it quite interesting. However, so it still counts as fresh water, the new costal river has to be flanked at both sides. How would that be? Good or pointlessly annoying or what?

Oh, you needn't do it anyhow. I downloaded the map and modifyed the inland rivers and Amazon to become traversable to boats.

I started in the 2 era so I would not no about the Pace of the game but I will have to say this is the funest mod I have ever play it even tops DyP and TETurkhan (in my opinion:goodjob: ) When it comes to balancing the game I noticed, in the two games I played, that America and japan die at about 500 bc to 100 ad.

btw no techs give mutual protection pacts.

Funny. The Americans are weaker in the early game, so it's not a big surprise, but the Japanese should have good ancient and medieval units.

why do we need to wait for the 3rd error for mutual protection packs? Weren't those around even in biblical times?

Because alliance systems were what lead to World War I.
Before that, you can ally against someone, but not have mutual protection pact.

No bug in beta 3 ?

I downloaded it and i'm very disapointed because it had more the one units_32.pcx !!!
