Allright, I'm going to be quite frank.

This DemoGame RPG is a failure. No sense in lieng.

However, by Term 9 do we want to be saying the same thing???

I understand that there is probablly not much we can do in terms of getting current demogame members, but is there a way we can get Civ 3 demogame members?

Are there any other ways we can help step up the level of participation (which is like 3-5 people atm?)

Is there any fun new idea that will attract many people?

Any other suggestions?

I don't know who it was during the Civ3 DG, was there a Civ3 DG RPG actually?

Dang, Right when I was planning on joining as well.

It seems that you need to increase your hardcore playerbase some (Hopefully I can help some), You have too many jobs that require alot lot of effort and not enough people to put in the time. This is a neat idea and I would love to see/help it succeed.

Question though, are the demogame and RPG the same or different things?
If they are, then I'm an idiot and ignore all I said.

Im not sure how to get the RPG more active frankly. It's not a 'new' thing so doesnt have the appeal of that, the forum has been here for awhile so it may have been passed over for awhile. Yes there was a civ3 RPG and it was pretty good for a term.

honestly..I rather play multiplayer games right now. This whole demo game is suffering from lack of participation...who knows why and who knows how to get more people.

One thing I think is a cause is multiplayer..easier to play that Civ3 due to pitboss. people dont have a lot of time for playign teh Ai in a long game like this. I still like it since I picked up a few tricks for my own games( thanks to whomp)

I think thats it, when the RPG was at its height the demogame was very active-people have been leaving the demogame and therefore the RPG is not as active.

Well one reason why there are less demogamers, is because even though you don't need the game to particpate, people rather not participate if they cant play the game. And the game is a lot more demanding on your pc then civ3 and its predecessors.
