OOC: does the UU become obsolete as the stone age is over? or as new ages come, they are upgraded, like the war elephants, they become better as new things like iron weaponry are added to it.

OOC: I have decided that lasting only one age would not be enough. Therefore, UU's shall last two ages before the benefit of it goes away. I must warn you though, there are some ages that last less time than others. Stone age and Copper age are such ages.

What comes to this military academy of yours... I will mark down that you've started to construct it and I will tell you when it's finished, but it might take some time. A military academy in stone age? Hmmm... I think you must wait until you've gotten bronze to finish it

But that doesn't mean that you couldn't start constructing it.

America has ended the stone age for the world, as they developed "copper" which has set them for a completely new age!

The industrious civilization of Cuba and the militaristic civilization of Parthia are formed.

Also, new NPC nations have been formed: the militaristic people of Amazon (dark green), the religious people of Nubia (purple) and the commercial people of Same (light blue) have formed a nation for themselves.

Roads needed to be built and boats were needed to collect materials in the archipelago that the Bruneians lived in.

the merchnats moved west, they followed teh coast and fished along the way, they were self sustained and were moving fast, they started thinking of developing somesort of thing to make them float on water, a ship, they could transtport people, and trade good! but for nw it was economy, trade w/in the empire.

3RD UPDATE! (3800 BC)

- COPPER SPREADS TO CUBA

It is unknown how it happened - perhaps some Americans went on long boat trips and ended up in Cuba - but somehow the information of how to achieve copper is now in the hands of Cubans alongside with Americans.

- THE AGE OF BARBARIANS START IN EUROPE

Expansion slowed down for European civilizations somewhat, as Scandinavian, Finnish, German, Alpish and Scottish/Wales barbarians are making it hard for Same, Suomi, Rome and Britain to expand. Suomi already started fighting the Finnish barbarians in Tampere and achieved some - altough not many - victories over them.

The religious nation of Negara Brunei Darussalam was created in Borneo. NPC nations of Seychelles (religious) and Korea (commercial) were also created.

Fidel stood on the beahces of Haiti and watched as some nearby villagers approached him. After exchanging gifts he and his men followed them to their village. In the village he saw an old man cutting up a dolphin. This was not an unusual sight, it could be seen in La Habana to. No, what caught Fidels eye was the tool wich was used to cut the fish. It was not made of bone or stone as in La Habana, but the tool shined. It was made out of a material the locals called copper.
He asked them how they got it, and the old man replied that one day when he was bringing his boat to shore after a long days fishing, the glimmering of the metal object had caught his eye. Upon picking it up he cut himself and realised it could be used to cut up his fishes. He had shown it to another member of the tribe who had seen the metal in the ground in the center of the island.
Fidel knew that if he could acquire theese materials, Che would rejoice and Fidel woult most likely get rewarded.

Azale, you are still at stone age. Is this Alpine Warrior your stone age UU? If it is, then be aware that it will go away once copper age is through with you... but you might want to wait until you reach copper age, because bronze age (which follows copper age) is longer than either copper age or the very short stone age, and your UU's would last longer. Because like I said, UU's last only for two ages.
