Events
Danish expeditions into the sea reveal many unknowns. For the first time in history, explorers took to the waves instead of the rock. To the south, a peninsula is found, which resembles much of the area that surrounds Oslo, yet with more tolerable weather. Immediately a small settlement was founded, and direct connection Oslo was established through a system of communication galleys.
The first temple is build in Nicaea, as the very religious people banded together to assemble the stone centerpiece of the city. The Cult of Prometheus is established as the state religion soon afterward as a general agreement among the people. Other pagans were cast out of the city.
Fighting breaks out as the Sinhalese vie for dominance over the island of Ceylon. After loosing the major battle at Picahuyaga, the Sinahlese were forced back almost to their capital, the sprawling city of Anuradhapura. However, as King Vijava began to lead the armies, the barbarians were pushed back, and eventually expelled into the sea or killed, gaining the island for Sinhala.
-150 Spearmen
A small fort is constructed in the center of Salonae, the capital of Illryia. Here, many go to test their skills in combat, and if good enough, join the national army, led by the best leaders of the land. Meanwhile, a small farming village is founded a bit to the south. Narona is thought to be the sister city of Salonae, yet not near the size of it. Also, non-drum music is invented in Salonae: the Mandolin (a guitar-like instrument) is common among all street corners and professional musicians.
+100 Spearmen
Much after the Viking expedition, a British one was successful in landing settlers and a group of soldiers at the mouth of the Rhine. However, heartless and ruthless Celtic barbarians were quick to dispose of the explorers, and the British in the end lost men and confidence.
-50 Spearmen
Nicaean exploration quickly outpaces any other nation as ships are sent in search of other people, new goods, and potential settlements. A rather large party was sent to the north, establishing the town of Byzantium at the mouth of a straight connecting two seas. They immediately encounter local resistance, but in the end prevail.

Notes from the Mod
Orders do not need to be PMed
To all Russo-Area players: Sorry if your locations are little off, its tough placing civs in that area, what with the no coastline, and the different world projections.
To All: I need more then just grow economy. You need to say how you plan to do it. Please reread the rules if there is trouble. Alex, Amirsan, Constantine and North King was the only one who did this correctly.
You do not have to PM orders.
Constantine I changed your capital to the traditional Sinahese capital
if you dont want it this way, tell me and I will gladly change it back.
Feanor: could u change your nation name to maybe Brittania or something? Brittany is confusing, as it is a province in France.
Gray areas are areas of relatively dense populations
most likely future NPC areas. Most are hostile to outside invasion. Those without names are because I couldnt fit them, so take a guess or ask me. Those players who dont have them nearby sit tight, you will get some

.
I increased economies of those who didnt send orders. This will not happen again.
