Sicily Orders

Expand onto Sardinia and colonize the island. If there are any indeginous people who resist, send 100 archers and 100 spearman to subdue them.

Expand Further up into Italy, again moving the ring of forts further up.

Build a large mining settlement to try and boost the economy with precious minerals and metals.

Assemble a convoy of 10 ships to send to try and trade with the people of Spain/Iberia. This convoy will travel with meinerals that are thought only to be found in Italy.

Also assemble another convoy of 5 ships, to send to meet with the farmers of Souther France (who is that by the way) and bring back crops which shall be grown to increase the variety and health (more diverse diets) of Sicilian Diets.

Scrap the Wonder

PS. Is it just going to be like the one city we see, just wondering if others will be shown as dots or something, or if just the capital and territory will be shown.

A trade defict occurs when the country you are trading worth is selling more to you then you are to them

Take this example. Country A produces wheat, which is worth $1 a shipment, Country B produces pigs which is worth $2 a shipment. This means the country with pigs is earning 2 dollars and losing 1 for every shipment putting it at +1 dollar a shipment. Country A is the opposite with -1 dollar a shipment.

Now say that there are five shipments a turn. That means Country B gets 5 dollars a turn however Country A loses 5 credits a turn.

In modern times this is obviusly more complicated and if you want to learn more about the laws of supply and demand, trading advantages, most favoured trading status and the like read the economics news and learn Adam Smith's economic laws which are still relativley simplicitic and valid.

yeah well I dont know if that will come into place in this nes, but if you ever come accross a nes that has this system in place, determine the balance of trade, place tariffs on foreign goods to stimulate local buisness and protect it (although this is counter-pridcutve to sustainable growth) and ensure that you have manafacturing capactiy as this is where Africa goes wrong with their reliance on mining, agriculture and the like.

Both Nations will benefit, and we wont be trading money, we will be trading goods for goods, and then these goods shall be sold within our internal national markets, therfore we both benefit, because these new goods are normal to our own nation, but are exotic and rare to the others, and will therefore fetch a high price in national sale, whereas if sold in your own market, there would be much less revenue

Send a fleet of 30 ships and 500 spearment and archers up the Eastern coast to establish fortfifed camps on good harbours, trade goods etc, encourage trade with any natives we find, goal is to set up a chain a camps to the Ganges Detla.
