Even though Greece has apparently already accepted the treaty proposed by Egypt, Sumer, etc. (the original, non-revised, "unfair" one), we would like to restate that our troops will not cross into any territory that Greece had before their invasion of Sumer. That is, unless Greek troops invade or begin any hostilities against us on the Greco-Russian border. Though we support Sumer in this war, we will not send any troops to invade pre-war Greece herself unless provoked by Greece.

The President of China had died. Premier Xio Yundo had died of intestinal cancer. The leader of China for nearly 20 years he was greatly revered by nearly everyone in China. Under his direct leadership China had been taken from a isolated regional power to one of the most powerful and influential world powers, with a worldwide reach. A national day of mourning was ordered by the Senate and the Triumverate was called in for an emergency session to choose the new Premier. The Triumverate, consisting of two democratic socialists and an expansionist, chose a man dedicated to economic supremecy in the world, no matter what kind of system that was under. This was a man above ideology. He would undertake any policy, any action, needed to secure and strenghen the IRoC's possition in the world. Premier Deng Xaioping was given the job after days of debate. While socially and domestically he was a socialist he was a strict supporter in the spread of democracy. He announced a litiny of new policies including more and more trade with the outside world. Furthermore, the dertermined Democritist announced the establishment of the League of Democratic Nations. While not a counter to any existing organization it would be a Non-military, Political entity, possibly a trade alliance, depending on how the members felt. Furthermore, a massive overhaul and expansion of the Armed Forces was planned over the next 10 years. With the selling of Chinese goods worldwide and the Yundo Class Aircraft Carrier under development the Chinese Armed Forces would soon be THE power in the Pacific Rim. In addition two new branches to the Military were created. The Air Force was given autonomous command and a new one, the Chinese Marine Corp. These exceptionally elite troops would be highly trained in amphibious assaults and were fiercy loyal to the Constitution of China, not to any political system or man.
