Chief Ali Pasha had just gotten back from a parade, in which the Barbary Coast's finest troops had been reviewed. He was tired, and was agonized at the fact that most of his men could not convese at or near the same level he could. He was determined to make his people smarter, and he would do that by building temples throughout the nation.

ORDERS:
Increase education by building temples
Expand west with 200 men, east with 150 men.

Update 7, 3300bc

--- World Events ---

Huge recruits in the Burgundian army swell the army size by 150 men. This came just in time, as a huge barbarian strike in the Rhineland creates a stalemate in expansion and takes almost fifty Burgundian lives.

Rumors of a huge empire in the north reach Fennia. The people say an empire whose people call themselves Vikings looms in the distance. Fennians soon begin to be afraid, as the rumors speak of huge numbers.

Scottish troops have been called back to the north to defend the rest of their kingdom from the English and have successfully done so. However, with the absence of Scottish troops to hold the territory captured, the English are able to force the Welsh out of their land.

Expansion goes well for the Romans, who are able to overpower their neighbors and occupy their villages. Quickly the people are assimilated into the Roman culture. Roman shamans also figure out how to use copper.

A small Chinese village is founded in Korea, but the Koreans living in that part of the peninsula fight fierce battles, though the tribes of Korea are loosely united and pose little threat as a formidable foe.

The Babylonian forces are utterly destroyed in the Sumerian territory they occupy, and the generals ordered a full retreat back into the homeland. The Assyrians, however, have made an even better advance, taking the city of Babylon and the surrounding area! Assyrian armies continue to move south, and with the Sumerians, are crushing the Babylonians.

With Barbaryian forces stretched then, the Saharan tribes take this chance to strike at the occupied Carthaginian territory in a chance to take some fertile lands for their people. While the attacks are easily defended by the Barbary militia and army that was based around there, the barbarians did sack a few villages, and left Carthage economy in rubbles.

The Egyptians strike a key victory at Elephantine, gaining much of the northern Nubian lands to Egypt. Though this is a huge tract of land, and will take much organization and planning to keep it under Egyptian control. Meanwhile, the Nubians have retreated more south, into the desert.

The Iroquois gain more tribes into their confederation, mostly by force, as they expand south.

Indians meet resistance expanding south, as bands of wondering warriors attack the Indian frontier.

Stone Hedge is complete in Athens, where the culture boost is rewarding to the country, as many tribes in the north would love to be apart of such a nation. Also, the gain of tribes brings a copper using tribe into the nation, in which case the whole nation is introduced to copper.
