I'd like to discuss how here,exactly how I master minded the whole thing.
First,after checking out the union of Afghanistand and Persia,and Arabia and Egypt,I looked to Siam because they were kindof weak,and I proposed that,so that we can better protect uorselves from the other unifying powers,and the giant china to our north,that we should merge.
I had plans of european colonies in the very begining.So I made allies with the powers that could help me with that,by allying with Arabia and,of course,Japan.Arabia at that time had a bigger army than I,and bigger navy.I quickly went about securing my navy,and doing all that patriotic unification of my empire crap.I had Siamese and Indian people interbreeding,and gave benifits to those who did,in order to make a "South East Asian Race" or the "Seasian" race.
With my goal being Europe,I looked to my west,with my ally Japan,and figured that I needed an african base so that I could better attack Europe.I sent some people to live in a north african country,I think it was Ethiopia,in fact,yes it was.But right after that,I found that there was civil war in Zululand.This is exactly what the doctor prescribed,so I allied with Somalia,and attacked.
My plan was simple.I had my ally invade Zulu major,with Somalia,and the rebelions,of course,took their own toll.I would,on the other hand,take all of Zululand's sea posessions.By this time I had the biggest navy,and army.So I wenty ahead with my plans.I figured that the main zulu armies would be in Zulu major,and this was correct.I had taken all of Madagaskar in one turn,because I had knocked their navy into the sea,and tooken all their ports on a "Surrender or die" policy that I kept threwout the game.
All of my victories were reported in full length to my populace,and all of my defeats,which it doesn't seem like I had any to hide,were hidden from the populace and the only ones able to read the reports of defeat were the emperor himself.This raised popular support of my military happenings by quite a bit.Not to mention the really mediocre losses,compaired to my allies.Of course I knew that they were losing more than I,but that didn't matter to me,for I was looking out for number one till the end.
As I looked north,thuogh,I could see Mongolia getting smashed by a coalition,and his ally Korea getting smashed pretty hard too.me and Japan toyed with the idea of sending aid to the mongolians,so that the chinese wouldn't get too big.But this wasn't needed as we saw later.The first turn of the war in Zululand had gone according to plan,with Japan and friends meeting the bulk of Zulu forces.
I offered surrender to them,but I'm glad they didn't accept,because I gained more than what I was asking for,at the price of only another hundred thousand men.I invaded western Zulu,and ni 2 turns took over the whole of their coast,and with a communist rebelion in their lands,it was finaly time for peace with them.But I had already gained a huge chunk of land,and the gate to Europe was open.
Europe at this time was peaceful,but with my undoing of this..It was the most beautiful piece of work ever.I found that Austria and Italy were alied,and that Germany was about to be fought for.Both sides were going to take it slow,and wait for like 3 or 4 turns to do anything,but I noticed a numerical advantage for Austria and Italy,so I tampered with the leaders.I told the 2 that I would send an army to their aid,if they attacked that very turn I had settled peace with the Zulus.My army was already the most numerical and professional army in the world,as was my navy,so the austrians were quick to jump on this opportunity.
So...After aquiring the knowledge that Italy and Austria was going to attack Prussia,I nosed my way into Prussia's ear,told them about the happening,and told them about how I was going to help them.And help them I did.
The turn changed,and my army had gone in,and stabbed the Austrians,and tooken over much of the coast,for I had landed another army as well.Using surprise to it's utmost value,I took over Gibraltar that same turn,and smashed the italian fleet considerably,as well as the Austrian fleet.
I had lost 100 thousand men on this turn,and tooken over a huge chunk of Europe mainland,and one of the most fortified posessions in europe...Gibraltar.Surprise,and a well trained,well moralised army can do that kind of stuff.
Right after that turn,I started to discuss peace.Italy was a pushover when it came to the subject.I told him of my alliance with Norway,and Arabia.Told him that Arabia would invade his mainlands,I would invade the rest of his gibraltar and carthage colonies,and that would seperate him from his american holdings..Thus,he would have died in a matter of a short amount of turns.So he gave in,and gave me all of gibraltar,and an african holding as well.
The war in Belgium,since I had proven myself the ability to have mercy when cities and armies surrendered,went very smoothly the second turn,and sending a message to brussels,the capitol,they overthrew the austrian government there,and became vassals of the USEA.Thus,they were spared and a bit of leniancy was given to them.
At this time,I was sure of an imminent world vs. USEA scenario brewing,so I started to quickly prepair for it.I was going to sell belgium off to England for an economy and a portion of his navy.Britain forgot to send the stuff though,so I didn't get the chance to take his stuff.Britain had a nicely sized navy of 2000 that I wanted to shrink,in case of a world war.I was going to attack it outright,but figured that would be slightly bad for that time,and I was just going to extort them,since their leader thought I was on their side,and it was going to be a USEA and Britain vs. the world scenario.
I kept Norway in check,by constantly threatning them,and keeping them against Italy.I kept Italy as my best friend by constantly finding someone to fight.Like Norway,and France later.The war between PRussia and Austria kept on for a while,so there was no need for me to tinker with their bloobath,even though I send something around the neighborhood of a million men to help PRussia,in case I might have needed a favor in the meantime.
I send aid to the actual government of China,in the same hopes,but someone came in and strted having peace talks and what have you,thus the favor system I had sought was destroyed in that country.Japan had ceded everything under the USEA,after Panda quit,which was a great thing,because I didn't want someone to join and be against me with Japan,since it had just got done with it's many ships per turn wonder.
I had gotten contempt to talk with me about invading Normandy,and soon it evolved into stabbing Italy.I had gotten Germany and Iceland to let me control their fleets the last turn,so that I could smash Itally's fleet.This was umb,because I ordered not to destroy Italy's fleet,but Kamilian got the orders mixed up,and it didn't matter anyways.I sabotaged the Icelandic fleet,and killed everyone that was simming back to shore,so that we could say that their fleet simlpy just "Vanished",and there would be no evidence against me.I also took an ok amount of their subs with them.
At that same time,I had sunk the Portuguese sub navy,so that they wouldn't have a good way of getting to me when the world war started up.I had a plan that I was going to take everyone's subs out,except mine,and I started a wonder that made more subs.This was to ensure the fact that I would win the naval theatre in any world war.
I figured that if noone had any subs,that my navy would ultimately be safe.And if my navy was safe,the world might be able to overrun everything else,but they couldn't pass my mountainous India..Especially at this day and age,with guns.My plan was simple.Destroy the world's navy,except for my trust worthy allies,and then prepair for a huge land assault.I had an army that could take on any 3 armies in the world,and with my generalling,I could probably take any 4.Plus the allies that surrounded me all had nicely sized armies as well.And if worse came to worse,I had the himmies gaurding my country,and no other civilisation would be able to have any coastal cities except India.
And then it died...But I was quickly on my way to dominating the whole of the world.
How I kept my people in line
At first,I was only India..In order to have a militaristic fealing for my country,I at once started military parades,and made all the young boys look at these men as heroes..They should soon want to join the army too,and be just as magnified.
After I merged with Siam,I quickly started giving benifits to interracial marriages,and trained the siamese army and navy like Indias was.And then I gave military parades in the siamese lands to show what the Indian government has done for them.We turned their country from ashes to a glorious military powerhouse.
After invadeing Zululand,I gave them lighter taxes than the rulers before me.Thus,they were apreicative.Madagaskar I gave it's own governor,and west Zulu I gave a military regime that ruled those zulus with an iron fist,since I could smell someone trying to sneak in rebelious notions threw the borders,I made many fortresses at the borders,to monitor who came in and out.This was patrolled by a million men.
When I took Gibraltar,and Morrocco,I gave them lighter taxes,and their own civil governors,so that they could feal as if they had autonomy.I also gave Vietnam autonomy,even though the siamese king got very heated at the news.I simply shut him up with a simple "We won't overrule your authority again" promise.
Really the Emperor of India controlled the Empire of the USEA with an iron fist,and the governors were just advisors,bringing news of the happenings in their area to him,and he would make the decisions.
Simply put,I gave the subjugated people lighter taxes and all the same freedoms that their old rulers had,so that they didn't feel any worse,just better.Over time I would have increased taxes,because they would feel like they're part of the USEA empire in blood and all.And if they were peacefully incorperated,I trained their army,and gave public works to them,so that their people would be indepted to me.
Military work
The Military of my nation was a masterpiece,and the warfare was masterworked.I gave credit in my stories to a council called the "USEA General Military Assemply" comprised of 10 chemists,10 high military officials,10 civil officials,and 10 scholars.This council was like the german General's staff that was installed by Bismarck for the sole purpose of developing war plans,military inventions,and etc... for the USEA
The military was trained due to the inventions of the General Military Assembly,and was equipped by them,and the generals took orders from me,who was constantly under the advice of the General Military Assembly.
This was great,because it gave a reason for my military to be so damn awesome.I had a council that was constantly doing nothing but improving it,thus,the Indian military was numerous,well disciplined,well organised,well led,and well armed.
From the begining of my military campaigning,I adopted a policy of surrender or die.Surrender and leniancy will be given to you,if you fight you will die.There were plenty of examples where people fought and died.I razed entire citied because the army wouldn't surrender.So finally people started taking over the cities and surrendering.They would then cmoe and lay their weapons down before the USEA army,and go home.
If a city was laid waste to,a handful of people would be able to survive.These were sent out to spread their stories about USEA attrocities,and victory after victory against resisting armies,while stories of leniancy and slight freedom were being spraed from cities who simply surrendered.The USEA army never met a defeat,because I always played my cards right,thus I never had any survivors of an enemy victory saying "THey're beatable..Just tough.". Instead,they were saying "They're unstoppable..Surrender before it's too late,and they'll spair you,it's guarranteed!" and with surrendered people to prove that theory right,there was only one smart decision for the enemies...Surrender,like in brussels.
