stNANES2: Simple Stories

Nope!

You did it right.

P.S the first STnes I see Serbia in. LOL

Nope!

I have not seen someone has been Austria eather,
and I think you got an good strategic position :)

Is there a Russia? I think that there should be...

Well, it looks like this game will have no shortage of members, fortunatly. Especially in Europe :D

You are open to take/make an nation, or you can have an rebbelion later in the game.

Actually, there is a Russia, my mistake. Btw, I am already Rome. I was just asking for the sake of asking.

Turkey Orders:
-Settle all regions of Asia Minor bordering Istanbul (Anatolia and Ankara)
-Send my navy from Istabul to explore the Mediterranean
-Builds barracks in all settlements
-Upgrade army

OK, I was at a basketball game all day. I will update when I am done proofreading some HW for tomorrow. Also, Europe is going to turn into a battleground very fast, especially between Greece, Serbia, and Turkey.
I am going to put a temporary hold on creating new nations until I can figure out colors and all that. You can still use NPC nations and all players currently holding nations created from scratch may keep them.

Diplomacy
To: Greece
From: Turkey

We do not wish to be forced to engage in hostilities with you. We promise not to interfere in or settle the Balkans if you will make the same promise for Asia Minor and the Dardanelles/Bosporous. Can we agree on this?

Don't worry Jason, I have this map under control.

We can promise not to settle in the Bosporous, but we will not restrain ourselves from Mediterranean expansion from promising not to settle in Anatolia.

From: Turkey
To: Greece

If that is the way you want it, then we cannot guarantee that we will not settle the Balkans. We have no problem with you settling other regions of the Mediterranean, but we will not tolerate the infringement upon our ancestral lands by Greece. Also, until we have an agreement on this, we will not permit the transit of Greecian ships in and out of the Black Sea. Any ship attempting to pass through the Bosporous will be destroyed. I hope it will not come to this, King Alexander.

Your navy is in no place to make threats. I do not seek confrontation with your nation, but if you want your ships burnt, I'd be forced to oblige.

Strong words, Alexander. I seek war no more than you. Can we not settle our difference peacefully? I offer you a fair deal: stay out of my sphere of influence, and I'll stay out of yours. You already have Serbia to deal with in the North; why waste men and material fighting when you could assure a lasting peace on your flank and concentrate on dominating the lands that are rightfully yours, the Balkans. As I said, I am not oppose in any way to Greek expansion in North Africa, the southern Middle East, or anywhere else in the Mediterranean. But Ankara and Anatolia are mine. Can we not forget petty rivalries and join together in friendship, to set an example for the world? Naervod has already said that Europe will become a battleground. However, you can assure a one-front war by preventing the Middle East from becoming a battleground. We are not a warmongering people, Alexander. Are you?

Question: If a european nation is knocked out of the game early on, can they rejoin as a new nation? For that matter, for how long will new nations be able to form?
