A movement known as the "Way of Truth" begins in Lisbon, Lusitania. Based upon a man named Pedro Tremon, who dedicated his life to writing and working hard, followers of this sect are highly educated, and consitently outperform others by improving methods of completing tasks. Combining that with Lusitania's new focus on education, many people are drawn to this new faith which centers upon finding the "true best way" to do anything and everything.
The current leader of this movement is Jimmy Jabba JibbaJabba, an eloquent speaker, and well versed in the best way to handle problems leaders deal with every day.

Story (Not for Lama Lovers): Night Raider Krar had been sent to the mountain front after his last raid. He had recieved it would seem a promotion, he wasnt sure though being sent to the cold mountains wasnt the best of places. Luckily though his men were coming with him. They were good men and was comforting to think that he wasnt going in alone. As soon as they arrived his unit had been given orders.
" Krar its good to see you again," Commander Thrax began, " but now is no time for idle chit-chatter. An Incan convoy of supplies is moving throw this pass," he pointed at a drawing on a map, " and we want you and your men to ambush it. First you will need to arrange traps, rockslides and pits should work well enough."
"When do we leave?"
"Now the convoy will arrive in two days and you need to be prepared."
With that Krar and his men were off. After half a days worth of marching they had reached the pass. After resting they began setting up the traps, Krar sent half his men to begin assembling rockslides on either side of the pass and the other half to dig pits. Come nightfall both these jobs were complete but they still had a full day spare. Krar formed a plan.
"Tomorrow i want your men to round up local preditors. Be carefull not to kill them, then bring them here place them in the pits. feed them just enough to survive, they need to be hungry." He told one of his men. " Now you i want your men to hammer in some spikes into the rocks, maybe bring some logs up and fix them with spikes. That should give them a nasty surprise." Krar finished up finalizing the last details of the plan.
The next day all went as planned, the animals were rounded up and the spike hammered in. They even practiced rolling down some rocks and logs. It worked perfectly, the only real problem was hauling them back up. But in the real battle they would have no need to roll them back up.
Soon the day came. Krars men lay waiting on behind the rockslide traps which had been made to look just like normal rocks. Soon the sounds of the convoy could be heard. Men leading lamas laden with food, drink and weapons could be seen passing by. As soon as the middle of the convoy was allinged with the rock traps the order was shouted across the pass.
"Unleash the power death!!" Krar shouted.
Immediatly the boulders and logs were released. They hurridly began their descent into a valley which would soon be fillid to the brim in blood. Almost as in response to the rolling death bringers lamas began falling into the pits, already the startled screams of the lamas filled the air. Bits of wool and even flesh flew into the air as the predators feeded. The rollers of death had just reached their targets. Men scattered some tried to dodge them, others jumped into the pits to evade being crushed and impaled at the same time while others just stood rooted to the spot and were soon killed asthe rollers crashed into each other at the bottom of the pass. Krars men lifted their secret weapon above their heads and hurled them at the people in the pass. The weapons were pots and urns filled with oil which had been set alight. as they hit the bottom they spread oil onto everything men sceamed in agony as the oil it into their skin. Almost imediatly after hurling te pots Krars men were charging down the slope with weapons ready. They guards of the convoy were mostly dead by the time Krars men reached them and it was only a matter of time before the rest were either dead or captured.

Giss I had died, he was the legendary king who united the wandering tribes of the Lusitanians into the city of Lisbon and its subsidiaries. His legacy will live on forever in the records of Lusitania. Claudius I had gained much fame during the reign of Giss, sweeping the mighty chariot army of Lusitania into Celtic villages, burning and destroying everything in his path to make way for the Lusitanian settlements. He especially gained fame by driving the Celtic army, which somehow made its way to Lisbon, in the historical battle of Lisbon Walls. And thus, because Giss had no apparent heirs, Claudius I rose to become the monarch of Lisbon.
The reign of Claudius was a bloody one to say the least. While he did believe in education, and thus continued to poor resources into the construction of the Temple of Yaan, most of the resources were directed into war. By wielding the war machine that Giss had built, Claudius continued to lead his army against the Celts that plagues the frontier of the kingdom. He did so for as long as he was king, until he was slain in battle, ninety-one years after the creation of Lusitania, 91 a.c. The first son of Claudius, a mathematician, was destined in the will of Claudius to not inherit the kingdom, for reasons that he would be too weak. Instead, the second son, Den Claudius would rule. Thus, Claudius II ascended to the throne of Lusitania.
The armies of Lusitania were tired, the constant war had lay siege upon their good minds. Claudius II decided that it was time for the economy of Lusitania to act as the sword. Instead of waging war, he would consolidate gains. And thus began to construction age of Lusitania.

-Consolidate gains made last turn, encourage settlers to build cities.
-Seize all trade routes that Celtic tribes use, and force them to pay taxes to use the routes.
-Construct roads between my cities/villages to encourage trade and unity.
-Sponsor marketplaces to be built in my villages and cities.
-Government is now a monarchy, with Claudius Dynasty ruling.
-Continue exploring with fleet. If possible, create a trading outpost in Africa.

If it wasn't for the temple, the believers in "The Way of Truth" would have abandoned the warmongering state already, and dissent with the government was beginning to grow. The followers continued to work hard on the Temple to hopefully speed it's construction, but more and more decide they would rather risk things in other nations. Many settlers have gathered on the eastern side of the Pyrenees to try and establish a pure settlement they called Pedroton.

The Subese Empire Move to attack the many tribes around them to find highly aggresive ferius people that ou number the Subese people by far in numbers. In good news their fleet reach unknown islands and return to tell the tale.
The Iron Eye Incans do all in order to stop the 6 advancing Incan armies. While the Incans slow down nothing match them as they reach the river. Behind it lays the Iron Eye capital... other 5 Incan armies fight the Iron Eye's armies in the deep rain forests loosing every battle to the Iron Eyes might. All forests in Inca now belong to the Iron eyes.
Middle East
The war in Persia ends with Darius the first victory. Now Persia is not jewish. With his new rule he invade the East and expand Persia much.
Much better equiped and trained Persian armies cross the river. The Mittani much less traiend and just not ready for this war send all it's forces out. In a great battle near Mittani capital the Assyrians make their bigger victory be fully destorying 5 Mittani armies. Now the capital lays ahead and Assyria could easily pick it.

Arabia and Medina go peacfully against the Nabatians. This time the Nabatians agree to Mecca and Medina small colonies as long as they trade with them. They also ask that nore more colonies should be made.

With Carthage loosing it's mighty start Phoenicia rise. Phoenicia make the Carthaganian Sicilian colony culture flip to them while growing their navy and empire. In Corsica 2 Phoenician navies meet with 1 Latin army. Unable to win agaisnt the much better sea trained Phoenicians the fleet move back and the Phoenicians claim the island.
The Iberian celts keep joining their new country espaicaly in the North and in Lusitania borders. Their army become very large and they are a risk to Lusitania and Phoenician powers in the Area. The Phoencians and Lusitania also settle small colonies in Fez africa.
Byzantium is under attack by Macedone and Thebes armies. The Lydians using the Hoplite tactics like the Greece hold a bit until loosing to the much bigger forces a full army and than they retreated to the city. At the beginning it seemed like the city will never fall. Only than the navies come to make a bigger naval force than Lydia. The battle was long but in the end the Lydian navy lost after Athense brought their own navy. Lydia prety much could not do anything and tried to give as many casualties to the rest as they could. After the naval victory suplies begun to end and Byzantium surrendered.

After the city surrended 5 Lydian armies could not just give up. With amazing courage they attacked the waiting Greek armies outside of the city. 5 Lydian armies vs. 14 greek armies. WHilt the Lydian fighting to the death made many looses to the enemy they lost in the end...

In the Greek colony Spartan and Athenian armies, 13 armies total, meet with 5 Lydian armies. A bloody battle begin with no side seems to be loosing any real numbers. Than 2 Spartan armies leave to go to Troy with the anti-Trojan armies. The Lydian use the moment for a huge battle in the eastern borders between Lydia and Athense. 11 armies vs. 5 armies. Still much overpowered the Lydian loose the day. After loosing 2 armies the general command a full retreate from the Athenian colony when the Athenians and Sprtan take over it.

@ Erez; I hope you dont mind, but soon i think I'd liek to send in some lasting orders to basicalyl complete the econ, and mabye the etruscans or somthing, and then quit; its not the NES, its fairlyl fun, but I'm a bit tired of constantlly playing the Romans; the Tartessians in SHeeps NES are what are grabbing my attention most, and the Minoans are a neat option as well...

Claudius II had died soon after the completion of a trading outpost in the lands in the south, Africusia. His son was destined to be the successor, Claudius III rose to the throne of Lusitania in 130a.c. Being schooled directly by his father, he was a promoter of the economy and usually filled his room with economic advisors other then military historians, tacticians, or generals. However, the new threat of the united celitc nation posed upon Lusitania demanded a leader of military origin, like the nephew of Claudius', the son of his younger brother. This young man, only 19 years old, had led important victories against the celtic barbarians, and was well adept to leading the nation. It seemed like the nobles of Lusitania agreed, for Claudius III was slaughtered in his palace room by an assassin with a club. The guards did nothing to protect the king.
With no heirs, and his brothers declining the throne, Ferick Claudius soon wore the bronze crown upon his head. The little nephew who everyone thought would never get to rule, is now king as Claudius IV. Quickly he organized four more armies to counter the threat of the Celtic nation, and sent envoys to the Phoenicians, who were the other power within Iberia.

Heil, noble king. Both our lands are at stake in Iberia by the Celtic nation. I come to you with an offer of allegience, mutual protection if you will, should the nation of the celts attack either one of us. Agreed?
ORDERS
-Increase army twice, isn't it 2 armies per increase? if not, then just 2 armies total.
-Continue expansion south, but only with one army.
-One army remain in my trading post.
-The rest of the armies stand guard against the Celts.
-Continue to sail south and create another trading colony.
-Continue to encourage the growth of marketplaces.
