The problem is that this is a more or less "historic" NES, meaning that things cannot come out of the blue..... too much.....Tyrion said:

What Sheep did is feasible if he had some events leading up to it. Just look at the three weeks of rioting in France by the muslim minority, he could take something like that and have it escalate to the point where it does take out the government. Though it is a tad unlikely that all of the chain in government would die at the same time by the same thing.

I think those Italian events are completely unrealistic. No way would that ever happen. Just too far out. I stand with the mod on this.

All officiers trained are useless/incapable, we have almost no war-time supplies, and there are only couple repairing facilities within the whole country. IMHO it would make more sense if you start the Papal Revolution after the fabric of reality is sufficiently broken. Like, say, on the next turn.But, indeed, this is the problem with modern NESes. For one thing, we're, using IT terminology, sitting at the very end of a BT period, but an IT period didn't yet begin. It will soon commence, but not just yet (and when it begins, we'll be too busy trying to survive it to be here to celebrate...).

Das, join as Egypt or something. It would be both of us on the same side of a military conflict (which I would mention has not happened before in the history of NESing (Edit: wait, I forgot when Calicut and Assyria worked together. OK, discounting that...)), and Egypt needs a strategic genius.
