As far as his picture is concerned it seems that media personnel always search for the absolute worst, most creepy looking picture of a suspect or perpetrator before publishing an article about them.

Sensationalism is a vital part of mainstream media. No surprise here.

The kid also made an alligator previously, and the company who owns the construction barrels not only does NOT want to press charges, it wants the artwork for itself to be used in advertising!

That's what I hoped would happen.
Looks like he instead decided to help the finances of a company that hires and employs people, the company thereby benefiting the overall economic health of NC and by extension the country as a whole.

That alligator is pretty sweet though, better even than the monster.
