stXNES1; the freshmaker

yeah, both are basically true, though that dosent mean I'm making it easy for Rome to get the proper glory it deserves- as it is, I'm being pretty unbiased in regards to the Romans, and if erez would ever start sending orders in- assuming AA dosent do his usual thing, that being send in very good descriptive orders (which makes alot of fodder for updateing story material) then the franks would be able to kicks the Romans forces ass, at least in the half of thier nation they have left ;)

besides, if i was really biased I would have let Rome annex all frank land in one turn- lacking leadership as it is, i probabley should have ;)

that said I also said shoudl properlly rule the area- just because somthing is *proper8 dosent mean it happens, or is any easyer to happen ;)

I will eventually, UU's are ahrd to come up with you know :p I basically had to make up the last three

This war has gained us both nothing, wat about a peace treaty on pre-war borders?

Constantius dismised his advisors, sat down, and thought. He was pleased, yet saddened at the same time. He was pleased, because one of the "Three Great Reforms" was initiated.

The first reform was the "Militay Revival". It would help make sure no nation would dare to attack Rome. The soldiers would be enthralled for battle, and military enlistment and faith would soar.

The second reform was to be the "Cultural Reawakening". It would ensure that Roman cultuyre spread throughout the land, and the world would rejoice in Roman peace and harmony, the Pax Romana.

The third reform shall be the grandest undertaking of them all. He would forever be known as the man who gave liberty. He would free the slaves. It was to be called "Great Emancipation". This emancipation was decided in part because he didn't feel slavery was quite Christian, and in part because his financial advisor had come up with the theory that unless they constantly expand their borders, the economy was to tank. In thisa way he hoped he could continue supporting the grandest nation on earth; Rome!

He was saddened, though. Had he really been that paranoid? Maybe it was time to help heal old wounds with the Visigoths... But then... What if one day they attacked? Hmm...

Have we really been that rude? Well, I suppose if you agree to an NAP to Roxolani, the Roman League, and Alani, we could demilitarize our borders a bit.:)

by this time the Roman economy has already been basically dead for the last 60 years ;)

also, afraid therer will not be an update tonight, at leas tnot likelly I odnt really have the time to post of the NPC nations stats, though a quick estimate for the Pruss would be basically what teh Tuetons started with, and for the Roxi tribes what the Alans basically started with- sorry I cant do it, but I dont have time to write the NPC nation stats, and so people wont be able to do orders

The oaths were made, the horses saddled, the beer was drank(drunk?), the swords unsheathed. Fretigern prepared to fight the Roxolianni, saying that their chieftain has insulted him (actually his brother Athanarik dared him to conquer the Roxolianni).

Soon, the Visigoth army was joined up with Ostrogoths. Fretigern feared not Alans, nor did he fear Romans. Alans, he reasoned, were fighting with some gits over a desert, while the Eastern Roman Empire people were just plain stupid - thought alchemy was about finding gold. Sheesh. And the Roxolianni... noone even heard of their military (they don't even have stats! lol)!

And so the Visigoth king set out to do something very stupid. Or brave. Depending on what happens next.

From: Visigoths
To: Ostrogoths

Time to attack the Roxolianni is now!

@DAS- ypu basically the control the international politics of the ostrogoths- they go to war when you go to war, though I suppose I'll decide how many troops are sent (a portion, more then likelyl enough to match wahtever you send)
