Hi y'all

I play Civilization since the early 90s. And for each game since then, especially Civ1, Civ2 and Civ3 I was wondering if there is any mod or trainer
that would allow to build a Great Wonder multiple times so that every nation can build it instead of only one nation?
That means for Civ3, playing with 7 rivals that each nation could build one Pyramid, so a total of 8 constructions of the Pyramids.

So that it is not only the one nation that finishes contruction of a Wonder first, but that other nations can also build one at a later stage.
For me personally it would remove the pressure of building in time or reload a game so that the focus could be also on other things like armed conflicts :)

This would be something I would really fancy for decades!!

Anybody has an idea?
Many thanks for your feedback in advance :)

Hi Ali_Baba, are you asking about doing this in Civ3, or proposing a feature in the new game? Because this subforum is for the remake project C7.

In Civ3, you are describing Small Wonders - like the Iron Works, Wall Street, or Military Academy. So you could simply convert the Pyramids to a Small Wonder, but you would need C3X and Quintillus' editor (see the C&C forum) to make the free building setting stick. C7 of course will not have such limitations.

Hi @WildWeazel
thanks a lot for your reply!
Yes my post was meant for Civ3. Actually I was confused as I've posted it into Civ3 forum, or have I overseen something? (As per screenshot)

I have now C3X and Quintillus' editor, great.
Do you have any hint how to convert Great Wonders into Small Wonders with *.BIC or *.SAV files?

Many thanks

Creation & Customization is the main modding forum where general topics, questions, and work in progress go. Project & Mod Development contains dedicated subforums for larger projects that warrant many threads. Future Development is one such project, now creating a remake of the game.

From the editor you can toggle the Pyramids from great to small wonder in the buildings rules just like in the official editor, only that the settings will actually be preserved when saving. I don't think you have to do anything extra on the C3X side for it to work, but the C3X download page/thread would be the proper reference for its features.
