Sun stupidities....

Okay, for once I'll defend Microsh**.
I find that Sun is really dumb stupid and silly. They are suing MS for "killing Java" since they didn't include it in Windows XP. And of course they're asking for 1billion dollars... But what makes me mad is that several years ago, they sued the Redmond company for NOT including Java in windows OS...
And suddenly I start hating Sun. And suddenly I remember a funny pic. A sun employee wearing a shirt: "help the world, kill yourself". Nice gift for the Sun Boss...

You see...the Sun VS MS XP thing....breaks down like this.

Microsoft and Sun both had an agreement. Sun was writing Java for XP. They set a date for it to be done. XP was ready for Java to be added....but Sun didn't have the Java ready. So...Microsoft was writing their own Java behind the scenes....just incase something like this happened. Since Sun didn't honor the agreement, MS included their Java. Which (for the most part) is incompatible with Java programs.

At least...that's how I understand it.

For NOT or did they sue the FOR including it?

ah, and thanks for thr 411 CornMaster. I hadn't heard that before and I was tryign to figure out what Sun's deal was.
