Yeah, a friend of mine has seen it recently in Paris and he told me it was pretty funny. However, I'm not really interested in that kind of movies personaly.

Actually 2/3 are overweight and about 30% are obese. So it is a majority.

Thought it was 1/3 overweight and 15-20% obese. If what you say is true it'd be very weird... I only have 2 overweight friends and don't even know any obese people. Where are they all at?

According to the WHO, it's indeed 66% overweight and 31% obese. I had found the figures over the net before. However, I'm quite bored tonight to look for that link.Hundegesicht said:

Hmmm, maybe it's because they're all stuck in those "feeding troughs" (eating stalls) at Micky D's and don't make public apperances very often?

I can't believe that somebody bothered to make a doccumentary on the fact that fast food is bad for you. What's even more amazing is that people are paying money to see this.

I read recently that over 50% of the English are overweight, too. I suppose they need to change their lifestyles, too!

Russia - 28% of women are obese! Finland - 19% of men and women are obese (compared to 19.5% of American males).
I'm afraid that there is a gross generalization about only Americans owning the market on fat people. The western lifestyle tends to lend itself to low activity and high-caloric intake.
