Ghandi is not likely to attack, but when declared upon, he seems to hold a serious grudge. I've had problems getting peace with him after taking the cities I wanted (and more than 10 turns have passed, of course).
he's a weird one. he's coded to remember that you declared war on a friend, and you nuked a friend, twice as long as all the other AIs are. but no different as far as you declared war on him. talk about loyalty! he's gandhi, if he declares war on you for it take a screenshot, but he's gonna hold a grudge for sure. this is from vanilla btw, i don't know for warlords.
i don't know how to read the factors for how likely they are to take peace treaties.
Well, I've still been playing this game. Julius' only city ended up being this icebound place that will never get over a population of 2. Ghandi (with whom I've been on good terms and have open borders) sent a couple grenediers across my territory toward Julius' remaining city. Right about when they get there, they agree to a peace.
The things the AI does to you seem strange. The things the AI does to other AI players seems really strange.
This makes a little sense to me. The AI is more likely, I think, to offer decent amounts of techs/money for peace if you have units near one of their cities. Maybe it took those grenadiers to convince Rome to give Ghandhi what he wanted.
