Suscribed threads and email notification

Is there any way that this can be say....turned off? Because i like suscribing to threads, like PBEM's, to see if anyone has responded, but it usually dumps a whole bunch of crap in my mailbox. For example i suscribed to the deathmatch thread and within like 5 minutes there were already two replies and i had two email notifications. Its cool that it sends and email to tell you someone responded, but i'd rather just check usercp, and not have it fill my inbox.

Yes, you can turn it off easily, in your User CP.

You should consider yourself lucky though. Some people have complained that they haven't received any notifications in a while...

TF, I was one of the unfortunate who wasn't getting updates by email.

Since I changed ISP (very recently) I have started getting my emails again. It must have been my ISP blocking the emails all along, and my ISP was probably just deleting all the Telefragged ones because it thought they were spam.

Maybe it is worth telling Telefragged they are banned from some pretty big ISP's (or at least UK2.net, one of the biggest UK ones), and it is probably because they have an open relay that allows spam mails through. If they tightened up their mail servers they could possible get unbanned from these ISP's.

hm, I also don't get any notifications (for some months now), I don't know wether or not it's my ISP, but I get loads of spam, so I don't think he blocks the mails

Never mind, it is still sending email notifacations....can you tell me exactly what to do?

I don't see that option. I see an email notification option, but that seems to be in general (quoting the description, "threads that you have participated in"). I don't see an option that allows you to subscribe to a thread, but not get emails, and instead just be able to go to your CP and look at the list of subscribed threads. If there is such an option, I would gladly like to see it!
