Yeah, I had a very similar message when I was trying to upload the last revision.
Went through eventually, a couple hours later.
So there is nothing wrong on your side. Will be able to get it sooner or later.
Also everything will be back to normal when they have sorted out everything connected to the migrations at SourceForge.

Yeah, took a few errors and a couple of times it only synced half the files, but I think I am now fully up to date!

I keep getting "Access is denied" when I tried updating the svn version. It mostly updated and is fairly playable. When I try to cleanup the folder, It creates a long message about the changelog not being able to move into the right folder and ending with an "Access is denied" message.

Even when trying to create a new folder and starting over I still receive the same message... "Access is denied."

Any ideas?

Strange.
When making a new checkout, do you use the link from the post above?

"Access is denied" sounds to me like Windows UAC is stopping the SVN from making changes to the folder. Do you have Civ IV installed in Program Files?

Yeah, thanks for the tip, that sounds plausible to me too!

PS: Updated the opening post of the thread with the correct link.

The install path for me was program files x86 (whatever it is called) and after moving it to documents where AND is installed, it updated correctly. I will have to keep that in mind. Thank you for the help! It works now.

Glad to hear it's working now.

If in doubt, it's usually Windows causing the problem!

I keep getting this error when I try to do the checkout.

I know that the location is correct, since I can use that the view the repository online, but I'm not sure why I'm not able to do the download.

Edit: Yikes, not sure how to re-size that image to a more normal size

Hmm, never heard about this issue before.
I do not use git btw, but SVN. Not sure how to reach it with git.
It might not be possible without migrating the whole repository to git first.
"https://svn.code.sf.net/p/rfceurope/code/RFCEurope/" even has svn in it's name after all.
Anyone else tried to do a RFCE checkout with git before?

I've used git with other mods, but that's more a function of me starting with git and not wanting to try something else. I'll download the svn and just do it that way

Alright, sounds good, have fun with the mod! :)
(Btw, it seems that at least a git clone of the svn repository would be needed, in order to reach it with a git client.)

I think github was down for some of Tuesday - I had the same error with other mods. Maybe try again now and see if it's better?

The repository is hosted on sourceforge, so github has not much to do with this.
BTW, I think you have to use git svn clone to clone svn repositories using git.
