SVN version

Yesterday, I was able to make a commit.

I did however get an error when I tried to see the changes of commit through the sourceforge page. But that seems to be over now.

@ Absinthered
I also get a message (when I make a commit) that Sourceforge has a new "forge" and that we are advised to move the mod to there. It could have something to do with that. Maybe we should indeed move the mod to the new forge.

It's not down, but it's significantly slower
Merijn, could you give me a link about the new forge?

I haven't done anything to it yet, nor I visited the new sourceforge. I only saw the message. I will look at it this evening when I'm back home.

Yeah, I only meant a link to the new forge
After I checked it we can discuss what to do with it

Alright, I have read about the details of the upgrade
Also, here are the sourceforge news about it: https://sourceforge.net/blog/upgrades-april22/

Do you have some pending updates?
If not, I will start updating our SVN right now

Alright, the update is now scheduled
We will see how long does it take to complete it

Ok, after a couple hours of experimenting with the new SVN everything seems to be working fine
Can anyone test if a new checkout works fine?
This is the new URL of the repository: http://svn.code.sf.net/p/rfceurope/code/RFCEurope/
Revision 1070 is the latest currently

Seems to be working MUCH better now - I'm downloading at 1.7 mbps now as opposed to, well, not connecting.

*edit* Revision 1071. Your fix worked, sir!

Great!
And yes, the new SVN is much faster, all of sourceforge is switching to a new apache based forge, so they are in the process of abandoning the old one (that's why it was so slow)

To all users of the old SVN:

If you are using the old SVN, you don't have to do a whole new checkout. You only have to change the root. This is how you can do it.

Right-click on the RFCEurope folder.
Choose the option TortoiseSVN --> Relocate.
Copy-paste the new root. (http://svn.code.sf.net/p/rfceurope/code/)
Press ok.
Update the mod as usual. (right-click on the RFCEurope folder --> SVN update)

It will save you a lot of time as you don't have to download everything over again.

Fixed it in my post.

Ohh, and I somehow forgot to update the link in the opening post of the thread
Now it's fixed, the link is to the latest svn revision
