Switch 2 version confirmed

Is anyone here playing on Switch?

I am also playing on Switch and looking forward to the Switch 2 version.

It would be interesting to see how the number of Civ players are distributed over all the plattforms. While Steam releases statistics, the other platforms afaik don't.

However, Firaxis very likely has a good knowledge of the number of players on every plattform. I wonder if they will ever share such a statistic with us...

I tried Switch civ7 but the performance was not playable, at least for me. Not sure I'll get a Switch 2, but if so I'll give it another try.

Does CIV VI kindda runs bad on the Switch? Hell yes it does...but apparently other consoles and also PC release don't fare much better.
Most importantly, only a portable device such as the Nintendo Switch, without clunky cables, mouse, oversized keyboard can keep the one more turn afloat at 2am without me waking my wife sleeping beside me in bed!

Funny that last night my og 2017 V1 Switch decided not read anymore the 128Gb micro sd card it uses for memory expansion. Can't play CIV VI no more for now, as the rest of the data is in that card.
Planned obsolescence much, eh Nintendo?
