So...apparently, the way Switch checks to see if a game is playable or not involves checking base game release date only, and not any bundled items. So even though you may have paid for an early access, because the system checks the base game and sees a February 11th release date, you cannot play.

What's frustrating me is not hearing anything about what's going on with Switch. I don't know about whether it checks for the date of the base game, I've read some places the eShop does 3rd party unlocks at 12 PM EST instead of 12 AM, not sure on that either. Just a simple "we're looking into it" or "it'll unlock tomorrow" or something, instead of wearing out my thumb retrying to load the game. Just something.
