I was looking for some iconic photos/paintings which symbolise government ideologies for in a civ5 mod (CtP), and I have a real hard finding images for some of them. For example I used pictures of money for capitalism, a group of poor people for socialism and for nationalism the painting of the conquest of the bastille in 1789. I really can't think something up for populism, liberalism, conservatism and anarchism, and because you guys rule in history I thought of asking here.

Could you help me, please?

Do you want these symbols to be relatively simple? What about optimal size?

Incidentally, I think that Liberty Leading the People might be better for nationalism than a storm-the-Bastille painting, but that's just me.

As for anarchism, if you're looking for something more complex than that stylized A, you could try looking for some of the posters related to the anarchists in the Spanish Civil War (maybe the Syndicalist Party? or the FAI?). You could also try looking for pictures or propaganda by Makhnovites, but I don't imagine you'll find very much there.

Populism, well, it depends on what exactly you're going for. The Populists of 1896 in the United States are rather different from populists in the Weimar Republic (like the Nazis!); I suppose if you're really hurting for ideas you could slap up some "Cross of Gold" stuff and call it a day.

Liberalism and conservatism are far too loaded for me to want to comment on 'em. :p

It's good but haven't you got something that when people see it directly associate it whit the ideologie?

This torch (without the writing) can be used for both liberalism and conservatism. Undoubtedly populism as well. You don't need to thank me.
