Tactics is where it's at.

As far as a strategy article, this thread sucks. However, for entertainment and humor value... I'm not quite ready to unsubscribe;)

I like donuts and boobs.

Optimal strategy is clearly getting workers then using the nice tactic of improving titles. Somehow when i don't improve titles i always seem to fall behind. Workers is the strategy and using them is tactics. Doesn't help to have 2 workers per city if you don't know what to do with them.

The fool asks humbley, what woud they consider the most import thing to do very early in the game of CIV IV? Did I hurt any feelings by that statment. Yes I am seeking knowldge from those who know better. P.S. Jokers have your fun,we know you will.

The little things is where it all starts. 1 soldier +4 solider =1 squad etc... all the way up to an entire Army. That same concept should be how you plan your tactics. one tactic+1 =1 etc... and you have formed your strategy. Any ideas you come up with can be useful tactics. You would be well off if you researched them before trying to implement them. Always have tactics you can fallback on. Your grand strategy depends you are prepared for ANY tactic the enemy may throw at you.

No matter which way you choose, you are always moving towards victory. Be careful not to stray from that way and fall into a defeat. One victorious division + one another + 10 more = A victorious army. Always seek your combats to be victorious, and never fight losing ones if you don't have to. Any troops you have built can be useful in combat, as well as all of the promotions and technologies. Try to have more army in reserve in case you start losing, so you have extra troops to kill the enemy. You military victory depends on how well you are prepared for ANY soldier the enemy may throw at you.

A nice military article! :goodjob:

Go to your local 7-11 for the donuts. Strip club for the boobs. The best tactic is usually just to get in your car and go. You could just go to the bakery and have them make you a donut that looks like a boob as well, to save turns, eh, time.

I bet mods are simply too :roftl: to close it for now. some of the contributions are simply hilarious.

Don't be fooled by fake ones. They are a distraction from the true objective.

Never trust a enemy. Enemies arn't trustworthy.

IMHO, Flood Plains should be Cottaged, rather than Farmed - even in a GP Farm - as the "3F + Town" from Cottage is better than the " 4F + Half a Specialist" from Farms.

Hope that helps! :goodjob:

Why is Earth-God's article not listed in the War Academy? I suspect that there is a secret elite that posts only those articles that will enslave the minds by procedural walk throughs, and build "orders".
"Obsolete" - the handle- literally means what? that the advice is obsolete.
Look at the secret symbols on the avatar.

Read this- Obsolete- "to build a town you must first build a cottage"
compared to Earth-God's - "tactic=short term manouvers aimed at long term goals.
Befreind one and have him attack"

Which is stronger advice? Which is closer to Sun Tzu? I see what is going on.
