The next TC will be next Tuesday, 4:00AM GMT. There are few things we need to discuss:

:espionage: All EP's are still on Lincoln. He is nearing his end and we should take them all off of him.

:science: Research can be increased to 70% without putting us in the red. It will give us Steam Power in 7 turns.

:religion: Spread religion to Churchill south of the Continent. Our Religion currently has 29% influence and Confucianism is right behind us with 28.

:gp: 2 GM's, can bulb all or part of nationalism, trade mission, settle or Golden Age.
I suggest bringing the Caravel back to Cordoba (2 turns) and pick up one GM for trade mission. The other can bulb or settle, I suggest bulbing.

Can you please post the starting save?

You are right about the EPs, lest get them on the civs west of us, I say.

Lets go with 70%.

Hinduism might have spread 29% over Confucianism at 28%, but more civs are Confucian. That means if we are going to spread Hinduism for a potential ally, we should do it quickly and effectively. Venice and Seville will both grow to the next population point on the next turn, this will cause both cities to become unhealthy (actually, Seville already is.) I suggest we whip missionaries at both cities before switching to Caste System.

I support TNC in starting a massive Hinduism Missionary scheme. Missions also acts as spies, so we get to see a lot by making missionaries and plant them in key cities.

Taoism wont do, Hinduism is part of our success criteria for this game!

Ant put that UN political correctness a certain place, its twisted, and remind yourself that Civ4 is a strategy game, not a humanitarian showcase.

I suggest, if we put up research to 70%, we trade Silks to Monty for 8gpt, to stay in the green (as opposed to neutral, not red) and another excess silk to Tokugawa for 6 gpt. These are the two highest gpt ratings we can get from our allies; they're not the best trades either, and certainly not necessary, but they might bring in some cash while were speeding through Steam Power.

Well said Provo ;)

Anyway, I think some Hindu spread is in its place. I am opposed to Slavery but if speed is crucial, it is worth the sacrifice.

Warfire needs a Grocer, due to unhealthiness, right away
Cordoba should get Moai Statues, now that discussion is settled, right away
New Giruvegan needs Aqueduct and Grocer to get more health to grow, right away
Seville is unhealthy, and needs an aqueduct
Arkadia needs a grocer for more health, to grow more
Babylon should get a university, to get us closer to Oxford, but also for culture.
Barcelona should get an aqueduct and grocer, for much needed health
Venice should build a settler, to settle Vandal Valley (on the plain tile straight north), so we avoid foreign colonizers on that horse tile near Venice.

Grocers also get us gold!

I think we should spread Hindu religion to the Ghandi of England

We should direct our espionage to the Mayas and the Aztecs, to cover our coasts.

Both Great Merchants should be used for trades, to get us gold for massive troop upgrades later.

I agree to 70 % research.

I think Babylon can complete Versailles (19 turns) before we take him out, since then we could place our forbidden capital in Cordoba, as the northern Versailles would handle maintenance there.

High Marshall Provolution, I agree with everything you have said in the above post minus the Great Merchant Plans.

I think one Great Merchant should be used for a Trade Mission and the other should be used for a Golden Age. If we sell some of our excess silk to the Arabians and the Khmer, we would be raking in money while at 70% research. This, combined with our already respectable treasury and overall output, would benefit greatly from a trade mission AND a golden age. This will also speed up the time needed for war preparation and Versailles. (Speaking of which, what do you mean Babylon can complete Versailles in 19 turns?)

As for the one above, I think we should stick to mainly military builds while under Theocracy and Vassalage, 1 to 2 unhealthiness points wont kill us, as long as we make sure it doesn't grow out of hand.

P.S. I need you to approve the requests for my proposed military builds in the High Steward thread, if they fill your criteria, of course.

i must agree with TCN. The golden age will assist in the military buildup, as well as the trade mission for upgrades of our most veteran units. Provo can you come up with a military budget needed for the upgrades.

Oh yes, a budget for upgrades would come in quite helpful .

All rite then, I agree to the use of Great Merchants, one trade mission and one golden age.

Babylon is presently constructing Versailles in Mari, due in 19 turns, I suggest initiating war the very turn after.

I second the 19 turn war movement.

:agree: :agree:

Govenor of Kassite:

As I see that no one has any problems with Kassite gaining Moai Satues, go ahead and Start it, and whip before we change Civics.

The Maoi Satues are a National Wonder and are still under discussion. I will be creating a National public poll later today on the matter. I will then make a decision where they are to go.

Arete: I suggest Riflemen be produced after current build.
Arkadia: Maxed out for health, I suggest we begin a Grocer after current build, which will give us +3 health in Arkadia. (Military production somewhat long.)
Kassite: I suggest we turn on Avoid Growth as Kassite is Unhappy and Unhealthy. Moai Statues should probably go here, as well, now that slavery is being changed and cottages have developed. Cordoba also has an unused forest we could build a workshop over.
Edori: Growing very well, I suggest Riflemen production center.
Venice: Will become unhealthy next turn, whip could be used. Scratch the Missionary here as we cannot build one (my bad). Focus on navy ship production.
Seville: Unhealthy w/ low production. Forest 2N1W should be chopped and turned into a workshop. Start a University after Theater for quicker Oxford in Arkadia, military builds long.
Warfire: Unhealthy. Should produce Trebucets. We should keep the forests to its North as we take 1 health from them.
Barcelona: Another good Trebucet factory.
Madrid: Fully capable of size 20, I suggest we grow by working Barcelona's Rice farms, which would make Barcelona stagnant.
New Giruvegan: Growing well. Builds are already stored and I presume instructed by Diamondeye, these should be followed.
Santiago: Begin working the Bronze hill, this can be done without interrupting the growth spurt too much.
Cordoba: Like I said, we should start a workshop over the forest 2S of the city. Should build navy ships.
Seidrik: Growing Well, continue University.
Blastoid: University after Library.
Babylon: Growing well, University after Library. (Sitting on a bunch of usable workers).

These were pasted from the High Steward thread, as pasting builds to TC threads were mentioned in my requirements. Please feel free to critique and discuss. All military builds have been approved by the High Marshal.
