I may have to bid you all a conditional "good bye for now", as I have been asked to take over as Team Q's turnplayer permanently. If the admins approve of that I will have to leave Team Amazon and go over to Team Q. In that case, thank you for having me on board for the while I have been a part of the team - I'm going to miss you guys, and the bantering here in this forum. Team Q forums are probably going to be quiet, so I'll have a small job in trying to revive the team, but I will do my best. And if it's not possible to revive, then I guess I will one-man the team to the end of the game if necessary.

Here are some shots from Saturday. One of the bikes is named Amazon after our glorious team and I decided you can like them. Also, the shots were on a historical places

Stairs to the top of Nebet Tepe (The Hill of the Guards) - one of the seven granite hills of Philipopolis. Here were found the earliest signs of settlement, which in 1200 BC became the Thracian city of Evmolpia.

Here at this crossroad, in 304 AD 18 Christians were killed by order of Emperor Diocletian for their faith. Later they were made martyrs of the faith.

In the background is the East Gate of Philipopolis - the road running trough it leads to Constantinople. Once it was a Triumphal Arch under which two Roman Emperors passes. Later with the decline of the Roman Empire it became a fortified city walls gate.

These walls are dating before the second century AD and they were part of the Roman fortifications done in Philipopolis.
