NiceAs we speak, I am wearing a VNV Nation shirt and a Covenant tuque (I don't know if you use that word in England).
As to the OP. Calling it techno is the first signal of a newb . However, that is okay as you got to start somewhere.
EDIT: Here is an example of a tuque
I dunno, Prodigy have sort fo a dance/rock mix going on, whilst techno usually isn't assosiated with rock so much. Did you listen to any of the bands I posted up? If you like Prodigy you should defo look into Industrial musicSo then many Prodigy songs must be techno, right?
IndustrialWhat do bands like 'Skinnypuppy', 'Bauhause',and 'KMFDM' falll under?
I've never really been a fan of Apop either. Soem stuff's ok nin a club environment I suppose. What did you make of Combichrist by the way?OK, I found a bands that I like their styles.
Laibach. I search for something like that, like Rammstein. Industrial Techno sounds good as name, but don't know any artists.
EDIT: On second thought, Apoptygma Berzerk isn't that good.
Um, I heart trance.
wtf, with ~7 main genres of edm and hundreds of subgenres, the three you mention include "sadcore" ?? Wait wait wait, not just "sadcore" but "slowcore/sadcore"Techno falls under the heading of Electronica, which also covers a few other different styles, including slowcore/sadcore, ambient and drum & bass.
Techno is the dance-style of Electronica.
